| I wish I was on my way to Florida already I just saw 2 little Yorkies on United Yorkie Rescue that I wish I could go pick up. I drive my parents to Florida in December and I saw Reeses and Peanut. They look like an amazing duo! I emailed the foster parents. I want these 2. I would love to pick up Harrison too. What a sweetie, but he's in Iowa. Why aren't all these babies adopted? And why do people give these beautiful dogs away. Its just not fair to them. |

| It does make you wonder, doesn't it? So many pups are abandoned when the owner realizes there are health issues. Reeses and Peanut need to go together, and United Yorkie Rescue is extremely careful to place the pups. Charlie (pup with the smile & yellow blanket) was adopted in April from UYR, and I went through a thorough background checkup and home visit. Soon though, both of those sweet pups will be in forever homes and you wanting to bring them home shows the love you have to share with animals. Warmly, Deborah

| I received an email back from the foster parents. They said I couldn't adopt them. Worst part is I have a home in Florida they can see. I have a vet down there too. And of course I have a vet up in Canada and a fenced in yard. I told them we have a yorkie thats 16 with medical problems and keep him healthy and happy. Her reply was that they will have a home for them by then. If they don't I would love to take them. Harrison in Iowa has been adopted and boy is he a cutie! The lady did email me about Harrison and said that if Harrison isn't picked up I would be more than welcome to come and get him. Last edited by dcapper; 10-18-2007 at 08:09 PM. |

| I have been watching UYR as I normally do. I now see that Reeses and Peanut are in Tennessee. They were in Florida. I wanted to adopt them so bad. Now they have to adopted 50 miles from their foster home. As for Harrison, he is happy at his new home. I was willing too drive to Iowa to get him, but I'm happy he has a permanent home. I wish they would have reconsidered Reeses and Peanut, instead of them bouncing around state to state. |
