Yorkie Pups, Chorkies, Yorkie Poos and more... Hey guys. Just thought I'd mention that www.petfinder.com has quite a few Yorkie Puppies as well as Chorkie Pups and Yorkie Poos, Doxie/Yorkies and Pug Yorkies... All babies. Quite a few are in Ohio but there are also some located in other areas. Please, if anyone is looking take a peek. Rescue is great because your new baby has already been vetted, had it's shots and in most cases will be spayed or neutered (or) you get a voucher to have them done when they are old enough. The average adoption fee is between $200 and $400 (most $400 for the babies). It's really a great thing. We just got our Lilly out of rescue. She is 14 weeks old and weighs just 2 lbs. She's a full Yorkie baby that was surrendered just one week after being bought from a Pet Shop. Please, petfinder before buying. Elaine

Wow there are a bunch of yorkies on there. I was reading about a few. One rescue said dont ask us for a weight, we dont ask the weight when we rescue... I think you have the right to know what the weight of a pet you are interested in is. I have asked that before because those pics can be misleading. I have seen one that I thought looked 5lbs & it was 10, or the opposite. But it would not necassarily change my mind totally either way but I feel it should be stated in each description. They have the saddest stories ever on there. How can someone take a innocent tiny dog & leave it in a cage w/out care or attention, well I know they do it for profit but it's sickening. I guess they will get their reward someday.

Here's My little Yorkie Rescue... Here's my little rescue that I found on www.petfinder.com. She came from Burlington Animal Alliance. They are very reputable and really wonderful to work with. Everything was completed in three days. Lilly is 14 weeks old and weighs 2 lbs. She was bought at a petstore and a week later turned into rescue. Rescue had her for almost a month. They had over $900 in vet bills into her / including a pediatric spay and yet her adoption fee was only $400.00. That included her spay, shots, heartworm meds and medical she incurred due to Giardia and upper respiratory. Elaine
