You really did an awesome job with her.......she's learned what being a beloved pet is all about.....I wish I could have taken her.......I'd love a sister for Brandi......but I just can't afford another dog right now and give them everything they need......I hope this works out for you and for Angel......sending lots of good thoughts and prayers........

I think you're very wise to not get in over your head
She will take a lot of TLC. And I doubt it'll be cheap to get her dental work done. I think maybe going to a foster home is best for her. I really think she may need more experienced TLC than I can give and than probably just about any "I want her" person can give. She's coming around, but while I was thinking about that older couple that want her, I bet they are expecting to do things like... take her for walks? She's not ready for things like that yet. She'll get there though. I think someone with puppy mill experience will have more patience and help get her there sooner rather than later

Barbara wasn't there... I left a message. But it wasn't pressing, if this lady goes like any of the others have, she won't call me back anyway

now thats not positive thinking khris.... think of it this way... If she goes to a home near you you can get updates. If she goes to a foster home she will get great care but have to be move again after that....

Hah - not positive or negative. Just realistic. I'm not expecting too much. I've gotten my hopes up a few too many times of her going to a new home to get too excited about a phone call that says, "I'll call you back"

It would be nice, and it was a nice surprise, but I'm not sure I expect her to call me back. Barbara did try to call back though (she always does ) except I was on the other line. I'm going to try her again shortly.

EEK! Well, now that I've talked to Barbara, that lady's OUT. She's NOT getting my Angel.

Barbara said she gave her my # the first time she called. She didn't know the lady, but she was asking for a small "older" dog for adoption, so Barbara thought of me. Then the lady apparently called me.... then she kept calling. Barbara said she called her at least 5 times asking the same thing. She said after while, she decided this was some crazy woman and apologized for giving her my #.

Oh well... I guess even if she DOES call back now (which she probably won't), I'll have to tell her that Angel's going to a foster home instead.

I hope all turns out well for her. When we met her (Saturday at the dog park), she was a very sweet baby. She deserves a great home! (like the one she has now)

She really is a very sweet little baby. She had a BLAST at the dog park, too. And then we went to the microchipping thing - she did well there, too (Don't ask about BOGEY, though... LOL). We got her microchipped (free), and she didn't even wince. Course, I guess that's nothing compared to spitting out babies, huh?
But yeah, she's such a sweet little doll, and I agree, she deserves the best home ever (unlike the one she has now LOL)

I wonder how long before we hear the good news of her finding the perfect home?? I was really hoping the last lady would have worked out...dang!! Maybe she is meant to be with you?? Everything happens for a reason you know hehe..

Yes, the foster home is still in the workings, I hope to hear something today or tomorrow. I'm so relieved that at least SOMETHING is working out.

I still check in on Angel's progress regularly!

I'm sorry finding just the right "place" for her has been difficult, but I'm glad you're trying to stay positive. You have done an AWESOME thing saving here, and karma will be your friend!

I just have to think that God knows JUST what/who/where He has planned for her, and that is why options keep falling through. When it's right....it will be RIGHT!!!! In the meantime, He has a reason for wanting her to stay with you!
