If I had the funds and a train could come to Canada she would be mine!! I always think of her and get excited to see a new post, hoping that she has found a forever home. She just sooo needs someone to pamper her and love her. Poor sweetheart..my heart breaks for her. Dawn |

I am curious to how much her dental care would cost...sounds like a just a few teeth to be pulled out..a couple broken ones too right? Poor thing must have really been abused. Does she show any signs of it...such as fear? I just want to cuddle her and make things all better...how can people do this to a little dog...she should have had a better start...sorry Im going on and on about this but grrrr it just irks me!! I look at my own little spoiled furkids and cant imagine them having anything less than the best... Dawn |

She was definitely not properly taken care of. But she really doesn't show MUCH sign of anything. She almost acts like she totally belongs and that everything's hunky dory. The only time we notice anything is sometimes when we walk up to her, she'll cower. But she lets you pick her up, pet her, she'll sit in your lap, lay in your bed, etc. She cowers most for my husband - we wonder if a male abused her. But for the most part, she still even lets him pick her up and such. She's a great dog and will make a wonderful pet. I only wish we could keep her. If this happened once we were back home, we definitely would be keeping her, but it's going to be a while yet. :( |
that poor baby...I can't even imagine how anyone can abuse a dog but know it happens. I wish I knew someone to help .... |
Yeah, I've been trying to contact some rescue groups... Praying one can take her today. |

oh goodness... I'm in Texas too I was praying someone woould have taken her by now.. poor baby.... Gizmo is not fixed if not I would offer... shoot..... it just breaks my heart knowing this poor baby might be turned over to a rescue..... |

Awww, everyone, don't be sad if she's in rescue. Most rescues keep the them in foster homes NOT kennels and they do work hard to find good, forever homes. P.S. I just hope that if she goes to rescue the folks their will be kind enough to keep us posted on her progress. |

Rockbaker - yes, I'd like those, please... I *just* got home, and this is the first time in days that I've had access to the internet. I'll have to try to call tomorrow I guess (it's a little late right now). Not really much for an update on Angel. No one wanted her, even the rescues I contacted, no one got back to me. I did NOT contact the rescues that said they'd only take her if they had a cage for her - I'm not turning her over to that kind of rescue because they're obviously not doing all they can for their animals. Anyway, I don't guess it would have mattered much though, because I wasn't giving up the opportunity to go see my daughter, and Angel had to spend some time in a cage while my husband was gone (which is a lot of time)... She's supposedly doing well with the potty training thing, though. Really well... |
