| Good luck on your trip. Have you ever stopped at Best Friends in Moab? I would love to go there one day to see their operation. Make sure you check out petfinder.com as it is a wonderful source to post rescues. My fingers are crossed that you will find the perfect home for this little one.

| What a precious little guy! Love his harness and bed. He will find a forever home, and bless you for being his loving foster Momma and Daddy.

| Update on little Bear! Thanks!! Don't want to make this long, but gotta tell you this ... good news and wonderful news! As most of you know, we have moved back to our home in Alabama for a little while. I only had a few short days to try and get acquainted with Bear and he was really shy with me. He would only let me hold him for a minute or two and didn't really warm up. He was doing great with Trish & her pack and he was such a little sweetie, I was surprised that adoption requests weren't pouring in! The night before we left Colorado, we were having dinner with Trish and her family. Just before we were leaving, Bear came over and sat right down at my feet ... I naturally reached down and picked him up for a last hug. He snuggled right up and laid his little head right on my heart and began to cry the most pitiful little cry I have ever heard!! I absolutely felt like he ripped my heart out. I couldn't help but cry and I told Trish, noone would ever want him and although I felt I couldn't take him that night, we wanted him! She said that she and Frank would bring him down to us in June. I was soooo happy and it was terribly hard to have to leave him. Some of you know how awful it was on the trip home in our motorhome. Patrick got sick and was in Heart Hospital in Albequerque, NM. When he was discharged, my son flew up there and drove us home. I just kept thinking, thank God I waited about bringing Bear home! I didn't understand my "gut feeling" about waiting for Bear until after we got home. Trish called me and said that calls were pouring in about Bear!! Really long story short .... there was the perfect forever home for Bear and as heartbreaking as it was for me ... I let him go. It was soooo much better for him. He is adjusting, as we knew he would, and he is being treated like a little King!!! I had already made so many plans for my little "Bama Bear", but I know that I can't question the "higher" plan that was also being made and I thank God that it turned out the way it did ... and that I didn't "get in the way"!! Don't you just love "happy endings"!?!

| Awww...I'm so glad he ended up in the perfect home although I know you would have made a perfect home too That's so great!! I know it must have broken your heart, but it sounds like God knew what he was doing.

| Thank you! I know that little Bear has the absolute perfect forever home. The lady only leaves the house to grocery shop but there will be someone with him 24/7. They are also buying him a kitten to play with so he won't get so lonely being an "only" pet. And they have had ramps built everywhere that he might have a problem getting up/down from the bed, deck, etc. He doesn't do stairs very well. Oh yes, his new home is ideal. I have been terribly busy and distracted since we are at home so, yes, God knew exactly what Bear needed too!!

| Bear update. Our little Bear ... Trish had an update on him and sounds like he has become "Bear the Brat"!!! I mean that in a good way! His new Mom says they are soooo in love with this little guy and they even have to spell in front of him now! Looks like he has worked his "Yorkie Magic" on his new family .... I am so happy for him! He rolls over on his little back and if they don't immediately give him the belly rubs he wants, he begins to bark at them! Yep! Another Yorkie rules .... all hail, King Bear!!
