anyone interested in a spayed female? 2 Attachment(s) Hi again to everyone on YT! We are still looking for a new family for our yorkie girl, Kourtney. She is 6 yrs, has had all shots, teeth cleaned and is spayed. She weighs 18 lbs and loves to be around people and other animals. She does not like to ride in the car for joyrides, but would be fine to travel to her new home. She is housetrained and great with kids! We are asking only $300 adoption fee to cover her vet expenses. Seriously, I cannot believe nobody has jumped all over this prior to now. We are located in Copenhagen, NY and ask that any prospective adoptive family come to us to visit with her to be sure you are compatible. We want only the best family for her and would like her to be spoiled rotten. Thanks! Debbie |
AAAWWWW She is adorable!! I hope she finds a home soon... |
She is so beautiful! I sure do wish my family could take her. My parents have a 12 lbs female now, but are looking to add another one to their family. They prefer the bigger ones. I sure do hope this beautiful little angel finds the perfect forever home soon. Why do you have to give her away?? |
Considering shes 6 years old...thats gonna be hard on her? Have you had her since she was a pup or is this a rescue of yours? |
She is a pretty girl. I hope she gets a good home. |
Why do you have to rehome her? I hope you find her a good home :( |
I just searched Rascals name - she is a breeder and has posted looking for homes for lots yorkies here .....They've varied in age and size so I don't think it's a matter of someone having to give up their Pet... |

why are some people so critical? I have read many times on here about people being rude and critical of others and I don't approve, especially since you don't know me or my breeding program! I am a very small breeder and yes, she has been with me since she was a pup, but due to unforseen circumstances, I have had to spay her and her sister and their mate, PJ. These 3 are the only adults I have listed on here and they are all taken excellent care of and loved very much. I just thought maybe someone would like to have a great new pet, but don't make harsh judgements about people you know nothing about! Debbie and the Rascals gang |
She's beautiful - best of luck with finding her a wonderful home. |
You were breeding 13 and 18 lb yorkies?!?!? wow. Well, she deserves a good home...hope she finds one. Larger yorkies are harder to place, much less one that is nearly three times the max described by the breed standard. |
The breeding thing is wrong but other than that no matter her size she is a cute yorkie girl that needs a loving forever home! It's kinda strange that someone would breed 13 and 18 lbs yorkies!! Come on someone she needs some lovin!! |

I love the feature of being able to read previous posts! I recently rehomed an adult dog & it really helped me determine she would be going somewhere she would be loved and cared for. It was not an easy decision and I don't know if I could do it again but at least I know she is being spoiled and cared for, which was my main concern. I hope that you are as lucky as I was to find a great home for this bundle of love. She's over standard, but just more to love. Best of luck! |
She's precious. I hope she finds a nice, loving home.:) |
Anyone interested in a spayed female I have seen Yorkies of all sizes from large 18 lb ones to tiny ones. They all have the same lovable Yorkie personality and the beautiful Yorkie features. I am not a breeder and while I know that there are breed standards for all breeds there are also a lot of people out there who love the breed but can't afford to pay the price for a tiny yorkie. As far as I'm concerned there will always be a place for those "non-standard" beauties that some breeders put down. |
Hi, I was just thinking about this little girl and wondering if you ever found a good home for her? I don't need another dog, but was hoping you had luck in placing her. |
I'm not a breeder but... Quote:
I agree....My neighbor wanted a bigger yorkie and he is the sweetest little guy ever. He is 11 pounds... Just because a yorkie isn't the standard 7 pounder doesn't mean they shouldn't be bred. These bigger yorkies bring much love and meaning to many peoples lives, why would any one be upset they are being bred??? |
still available Thanks for asking, but no, we haven't placed her in a new home yet. I guess it just takes the right family to come along and see her. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves attention, she is a big lapdog! I certainly can't understand why nobody would be interested in adopting her as she is perfect for a family pet. I'll keep you posted if I find her a home! Debbie |
why did she have to be spayed? did you breed her ?are you selling the others also that had to be spayed neutered? |
Hi Debbie, I also have a teapot Yorkie. Buddy is 13lbs and I would not trade him for all the tea in china. However, so many people like the tiny ones. Perhaps if she were free ( because of her age & weight) she might find her forever home. Just a thought. Good luck. She is adorable.:) |

And I've got the "flowerpot" yorkie :D Gabby tips the scales at 16 pounds and I love all 256 ounces of her...LOL! Debbie, hope you find a wonderful forever home for her soon. Wish I lived closer, I'd take her:) Suzi |
