| rescue Hi..sounds like she will make someone a great pet..please spay her before placing, 3 pounds at a year is a safe size. May I ask where you are getting the rescues to place?..are you a recognized Yorkie rescue? Not trying to start anything, but just wondering. |

| I definately think it is safe to spay her. My little boy was less than 3lbs when he was neutered. My little girl is 2.5 lbs and she is getting spayed in a few weeks. |

I personally am shaky about spaying so tiny but I will definately speak with vet about it. I'm sure he knows more then me No I am not a recognized yorkie rescue. I rescue all breeds. I never know where they are going to come from.. I don't PLAN anything. Sometimes I get calls... sometimes people just show up at my door. The vets , shops and groomers around here know I rescue... plus lots of word of mouth that I am here. I take in sick or well dogs and try and do the best I can for them

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Good luck Sherry !! I can't wait to see her ...how come you can't keep her yourself ? too many doggies already ? I agree on the spaying - too many people want tinies just for breeding now and at that price I bet you get all sorts of calls |

OH V, I always want to KEEP THEM ALL You know what happens TOO MUCH.. I fall in love and then keep them too long and then it is even HARDER to let them go. We had one girl here for months and months due to five broken bones healing and I bawled for a month after she left I was SO ATTACHED.

Actually I used to do all breeds or mixes or whatever, until a 200lb. Mastiff went nuts and hurt me ... so now I try and stick to medium and small breeds. I do however take a large breed once in awhile if I can be sure of temperment before I accept it
