My sister rescued another yorkie! He's CUTE! And looking for a loving home! http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=6671821 I just got off the phone with my sister. She knows I love yorkies. She said some lady just dropped him off and said that she found him. She had kept him tied up in the yard in the heat and would have dropped him off at the shelter if she hadn't heard about the rescue my sister just started. My sister is getting him vet checked, fixed, giving him shots and taking him for his first grooming ever. He's obviously full bred. It's about time this yorkie got to be spoiled like EVERY DOG DESERVES! If someone has been looking for a yorkie in Illinois please consider To-To! Will someone on YT take him home to spoil the rest of his life? I hope his story has a happy ending!

I'll let her know that you said that. It's always been her dream to have her own rescue. She usually doesn't take owner relinquishments unless she's sure they'll find a home. She doesn't have her own shelter or anything, she just has people who volunteer to foster. I'm not sure about the out of state thing. It probably depends on the situation. I'll call her and tell her to check her email. http://www.rescuingangels.org is her website.

I talked to her on the phone and she said she doesn't mind the out of state adoption. I recommended you because I know you've been looking for a friend for your yorkie for a while now and that you love yorkies. I think that it would be perfect for To-To because he really loves attention and he is more than happy to finally be getting it. To add a friend on top of that would be great. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be a yorkie tied up to a tree? I know my Brandy loves to run when I let her out in our yard, so being tied to a tree must have been depressing. Of course she said that she needs to take him to the vet and make sure that he is good to go first. She'll make sure he's fixed, gets his shots, wormed, possibly microchipped, cleaned up, etc. She does a lot for them. But she said he looks very healthy and really happy to finally be getting attention. She said that she'll look at her email and reply to you as soon as she can. I hope everything works out. Thanks for everyone's replies!
