| Giving away a Yorkie...Free but ONLY... ...to a good home. I'm sure anyone can say that they can give a pet like this a good home but it's got to be for real. I wouldn't give a pet of this caliber away for free, especially when they cost so much and we could definitely use a little extra money. We have a yorkie named "Chewie" (after the wookie from Star Wars - not because she chews everything) and we live in the D/FW area. I would prefer that the new caretakers of our dog have a house with a backyard. She currently resides with us in an apartment. I love Chewie very much but feel it's unfair to her to be kept cooped up all day while we are at work and then with all of the other things going on in the evenings she just doesn't get as much attention as she needs and deserves. When she was purchased, things were different and there was more time. She's great with people and kids but would also prefer that if children are present that they are at least 7 or 8 as she does have a hyper-streak in her. Please PM me if you would like more details. Looking to hand her over in mid August. Please know that it saddens me very much to have to give up a pet I've spent the past year and a half with. It saddens me even more writing and knowing that the reality is here that we just can't keep her any longer.

| Extra Info. In the end, it has to be what is best for Chewie. I don't really have a whole lot of info. Here's how she came into our lives: Me and my wife work in the same building. One day at lunch we saw an ad in the breakroom that advertised a Yorkie for sale. The story behind the dog was that a lady that worked in our building bought the dog from a breeder for her daughter. Her daughter being a typical kid was supposed to take care of the dog but she ended up being neglected and sitting in a small crate in the garage (and everyone should know how hot it can get in Texas...not to mention a garage). We picked her up and could tell right away that she was well underfed. I don't have much information in the way of bloodline or anything like that. I am not fully positive when her actual birthday is so we celebrate it in July. She turns 2 this year. She's spayed and I'd have to go weigh her and get back to you on that one. That's all I really can stomach to type right now. I'll send pics of her to all that are interested. Thanks.

| I am so sorry you have to give your baby away, I know that has to be real hard and painful. I hope you find a good home for her here on YT, then you can still get to see pictures of her and see how she is doing. I hope even more that your situation changes so you can keep her. Prayers and hugs from Peppi, Trixie, and Scampers:

| Coloring We have gotten numerous compliments on her coloring and looks. Even a guy during a trip to Petsmart went on and on and wanted to "hook her up" with his Yorkie for breeding. Unfortunately (for him) she's spayed...that and she's just not that kind of girl.

| Housebreaking She's not fully trained yet but she's getting better. She seems to be having a little better control. I try to take her out as much as I can but right now I just don't have as much time as I would like to be able to dedicate to keeping the training going.

| what a cutie pie ! she's coloured like my princess! i hope you find a great home for your baby but i just don't get how someone could buy a dog for a kid and the kid is just allowed to neglect her! that's when the parent should step in to at least make sure the pet's ok ! not just leave it all up to a kid and think it's all ok!that doesn't make sense . it makes me wonder how the kid is taken care of? also fending for themself? anyways how could you look at such a cute little face and not feed her or stuff her in a crate?! |
