And good luck with THAT!!! You just dive in, head first, and like I said from the start, you learn your lesson the hard way....my ONLY concern is for the unfortunate little puppy, not YOU, that ends up depending on someone that clearly knows NOTHING about Yorkies, the breed pros and cons of ownership, and is determined to do what they want and not listen to people that have forgotten more in the last 24 hours, than you have learned or know about this topic, in your entire life!!!.....so you snort, cross your arms, stamp your tiny foot, and end up WAY over your head in alligators. Then, you figure out by your own brilliant self, how to keep that puppy alive! You do it you own way and lets just see how long that puppy survives....cut your nose off to spite your face, just because you think you are hurting US by stubbornly, defiantly refusing listening to people that took their valuable time to try to teach and inform and educate someone that is clueless. This is a train wreck, looking for a place to happen. So you go right ahead and do whatyou want, so THERE!!! You cant say you were not warned!! |

Make sure that when you've got a poorly bred, sick dog that doesn't even look like a Yorkie, that you remember you did what you wanted. To everyone else: don't feed the troll. |
very well said |
I am trying to be nice but I don't like for people to call me out my name and I have not call you out your. Okay and what every I do if I go there or not I will let y'all know I think. Because now I am mad that some of y'all who don't know me is calling me out my name. |

The dogs that deserve a home are those puppy mill parents that live in horrid conditions suffering everday because uneducated people support their abuse by buying their puppies! By saying that every dog deserves a home is ridiculous and in no way excuses the pain and suffering you cause to the parents. I have a puppy mill mom and it took her years to live a somewhat normal life but she will always bare the scars of what greedy and uneducated people have done to her. I would never buy a dog because so many amazing dogs in rescue need homes but if I did I wouldn't pay one penny for a puppy until I saw the parents in person and knew some history. Anything short of that you'll get what you pay for monetarily and emotionally. |

Just my $0.02 I think everyone who has posted so far for the better part is trying to steer you away from these particular "breeders" or "resalers" I forgot the technical name(brokers?).....because some of them have been "taken in" by people with questionable ethics. Everyone is nice when they see a perspective customer but sometimes the story is totally different once they have your money and you're left with a sick pup and a contract that isn't worth the paper it's printed on. The members here do not want you to be tricked/fooled like they once may have been fooled. Taking care of an ill pup can be just as emotionally and financially exhausting as taking care of a sick child so WE want you to have the most genetically sound puppy possible. If you are in the ATL area I have an aunt who lives there and I can ask her where she bought her yorkie(she had her shipped though if that's an issue) if you're still looking at perspective breeders just p.m me ;) |
Petland gets there puppies from puppy mills it's no rumor it 100% is the truth. If you buy from them you are supporting puppy mills. You are supporting the abuse of dogs, you are supporting the keeping of dogs in cages they can not move in that are sitting in there pee, poo, and anything else they have done in the crate. They are rarely fed, never get love, never get healthcare, never get groomed, drink dirty water, are breed every chance possible until the die alone in there cage. There puppies get taken away before they are weaned and most are sick or have genetic illness. Most puppy mill owners do there own c- sections without pain meds and with out being under anesthesia. If you want to support this then go ahead and buy from Petland but know you are supporting that! |

FYI for the OP. Most mills debark their breeding dogs & they do so by cramming a pipe down the dogs throat to damage the vocal cords while the dog is AWAKE. many dogs are left with a broken jaw from this procedure & then left to fend for itself. Now can you imagine the PAIN of having a pipe crammed down your throat & then to top it off a broken jaw & then NOT getting medical care for your injuries ?:cry8:How anyone could even consider supporting this is just beyond me. |
