If your looking for a bigger yorkie that would be great with kids and family fun come down and meet Pico. He is 1 1/2 years old, 15.8 pounds, tall and leggy. He was taken from a byb who was consolidating her breeding program. To think she used this big yorkie as a stud :( anyhoo, those days are over. He is a happy spunky little guy who is very sweet and outgoing. Seems to do well with other dogs and kids. |

Breaking my heart! 3 Attachment(s) I am a peaceful person but whoever let this newest little girl get in the condition she was in....I want to do horrible things to them because they deserve it. Her name is Bree, she is about 2 or 3, and came in completely matted. When I say completely matted I mean completely matted, the mats were so thick and close to her skin I had to shave her completely naked. Poor little thing just laid there and shivered the whole time. Her little nipples look like she has been bred a few times so no doubt she was some byb puppy maker and they could care less how much pain she must have been in from her poor hair. This is why you research your breeder, yes its time consuming, yes it takes patience, but just look at these before pictures of this poor momma dog. Do you want you next pup coming from a girl that is kept like this?! The last pic is her after, I found a little shirt for her because she was so nekked, she is very sweet and I will make sure she goes to a home that will treat her like a princess. |
Poor sweet thing. I'm sure she'll be rewarded with lots of love in her new forever home. |

New arrival 10/26 3 Attachment(s) This little fellow was surrendered by his owner who got him from some other family but her dogs kept attacking him. He is a little guy, probably only 7 pounds, very sweet, likes to be held. He is 6 years old and needs work on the housetraining. He also didn't love his picture taken, but here are a few pics I was able to get. We named him Gucci and he should be available within the next couple days. |

New Yorkie Boy! 1 Attachment(s) Meet Holmes. He is about 1 1/2 and a little over 7 pounds. He came in with an injury to his private area- the medical staff thinks someone ripped him off a female when he was 'tied'. He was bruised for a while but is doing better. He is very shy and a bit timid. He will shy away from your hand but will sit in your lap. He seems to be ok with other dogs. He needs a quiet calm house with no small kids. He is a bit of a ragamuffin- very cute and sweet. |

Special Needs boy needs good home! 2 Attachment(s) I almost made this guy his own thread but since there are so many right now I'll just add him. Busby's Background- 5 year old Schnauzer/yorkie mix came in Oct 10 matted and infested with fleas and ticks. He was groomed and we immediately noticed he had a 'twitch'. His little head bobs and his legs sometimes tremble and twitch. He was diagnosed with Nystagmus of unknown origin (they did blood work and found nothing conclusive and more intensive test costs too much). He also had cloudy pee, no stones were found so they put him on urinary so. He is very skinny and about 9 pounds. I thought he was mostly schnauzer but when I gave him a bath I definitely saw the yorkie. He is a sweet dog but VERY shy and withdrawn. He likes other dogs a lot and needs to go home with another dog. I am currently fostering him but will be bringing him to the shelter for adoption. We are recommending no young kids- probably none at all would be best. Busby needs a quiet home with some one willing to give him lots of time to warm up. Please PM if you would like to know more! Please share this guy with anyone you think might be interested. |

Special Needs puppy! 2 Attachment(s) Baby boy came in today with a broken leg. Named him Moshi. He is so sweet. It will probably be a while before he is available- they may need to cast his leg for awhile.Thought I'd share though- he is very sweet and cuddly! The vet thinks he was probably injured in some way, someone might have dropped him or even thrown him (his eyes are blood shot- which can be a result of trauma). Good and healing thoughts needed for this baby. |
Chibi, the little puppy looks so sweet. I hope that he will recover quickly. |

New yorkies 2/20 Double trouble :D Victor and Vanessa. Both are 2 years old and came from the same place so I think they might be related. First Vanessa, is a cute little 2 year old yorkie! Vanessa is a lively little girl who is happy to give you kisess and wants to play. Once she is done playing she will curl up in your lap but this is no lazy dog, she wants to run around. Vanessa is very sweet and might like some kids to play with or a young person who wants to go to the park and for walks a lot. She reminds me a lot of my dog Molli, who is sweet but a handful at times. A house with a yard would probably be best. |
1 Attachment(s) Victor is a bit more reserved than Vanessa but seems calmer. He is sweet and likes pets and to be held but probably wouldnt be good with young kids. He is not leash trained at all and might be an escape artist. |
