| Senior Female Near Seattle ** This is not my dog ** I found this little girl on Petfinder. She caught my eye and I really want to help her. I emailed the rescue group to see if they have had any interest in hopes to foster her if they haven't. She is free, so it really worries me... "This senior is housebroken. She will also use a pee pad or doggy door. She does like to go outside briefly if the weather is perfect and if the other dogs are also going. She will be the first one back in. She did have a urinary tract infection which is now completely gone. The only background we know is that she lived with an elderly woman who went to live in a community living situation and that she is 8 years old. No medical history but was well cared for, needs Right medial patella surgery with possible ACL tear. No adoption fee just meet her medical needs. Worth every penny." | She's from Washington state. Are you going to be in the area, or are you thinking D.C.?

| I have no idea... I just posted her because she pops up on Petfinder for me when I search for yorkies. She's adorable and deserves a forever home, so I thought I'd post here on here You could contact the rescue to find out more about her.

| What to do? I am torn about this cutie. My sister and her family live 20 miles away from Milton, WA. They puppy sit my Brandy, sometimes for a whole month, as I travel often. They really would make an ideal forever home. My nieces are 17 and 14. My brother in law works out of their home so is there most of the time. My sister wants a dog, but my brother in law, who loves Brandy and would take her in a heartbeat if I gave her to him, has said no to them getting their own dog. Do I send the link to my sister and let her decide if it is a possibility for them? What if they get her, and she doesn't get along with my Brandy making it impossible for me to travel? Part of me says, don't be selfish and it is better to help this baby, part of me says it might create problems between my sister and her husband, and part of me says that she has already found the perfect home. I think I should send the link, and if she is meant to be with them, then she will be. What do you think?

| I did it Everytime I looked at the ad and the adorable baby, knowing she was at a rescue and not in a home, I just knew I had to send the link to my sister. Now it is up to her to decide what to do. I just pray this precious yorkie finds a very special forever home, whether it is with my sister's family or with someone else.

| The Petfinder page says she's an "adopted" dog -- which I believe means she has already found her forever home. If they are still available, the web page says they are an "adoptable" dog. |

| I think you may be right... I hadn't even noticed that. It looks like she's been adopted I wonder why they don't just remove her from Petfinder?
