| Spike was dropped off at the local pound at 15 years of age so sad. Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie - Small - Senior - Male - Dog - Spike - Northeast Ohio Dogs & puppies, Pets - Kijiji Northeast Ohio Spike was dropped off at the local pound at 15 years of age because the owner bought new carpet. No one should spend their golden years in a shelter alone! Spike is a sweet boy that loves his dinner, sleeps for extended periods of time, and doesn't bother a soul. He gets along well with all of the other dogs as long as they leave his supper dish alone. Can't blame him as when he came, he was nothing but skin and bones. He is slowly fattening up and is now ready for his new home.Email for his special senior adoption fee. For more information on this dog, please email Read more: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie - Small - Senior - Male - Dog - Spike - Northeast Ohio Dogs & puppies, Pets - Kijiji Northeast Ohio |

| You have a friend, companion for 15 years and then one day decide to get new carpet and throw him away like trash. How sad. I had a male Yorkie for 13 years and when I had to make the decision to let him go it was one of the saddest days of my life. He took a big chunk of my heart with him.

| Just disgusting. I thank god for my great husband. He puts up with so much with our Yorkies. We ripped all our carpeting up and put down laminate due to accidents. They are our loves and we adjusted our home to them. How someone can get rid of their family after so long. Prob. for the best if the poor guy was as starved as they said. He prob. had a terrible 15 years with them anyway. Maybe, now he'll know love and a full belly. Elaine |

| Spike has a new Forever Home ! Sometimes a story just tugs at your heart strings and you have to act. I flew from Melbourne FL to Columbus OH and back Feb 27 to adopt Spike. He is a sweet little old guy who is House Trained. He lets me know when he has to go potty, holds his potty very well. The vet visit Mon 3/1 indicated that the only thing really wrong with him was some dental and he's 15 years old. The next day he got a nice bath and grooming. He is a spry(?) 15. He will hop up onto the couch, and the top of the back and stands his ground at breakfast, supper and treat time. He's 7 1/2 lbs and I suspect he'll put on another pound or two. He was definitely worth the trip. I'll be posting pictures of him and the other pups next day or so.
