Hi everybody!

Monkey and I are still hanging out. He is very energetic, LOVES his walks and has been making so many friends at local dog parks. I have a wonderful network of dog lovers here in Austin working hard to spread the word on this guy. Tomorrow we have a meeting with a potential family, weather permitting! I wish I knew more about dog training, Monkey will be the best dog ever when he learns manners and focus.

I still don't know what he is other than yorkie (maybe silky) plus something. He has real long legs but not the terrier stubbornness.

I wanted to say a million thanks for the well wishes, and the wealth of knowledge y'all bring to this site. I was so well prepared after having my Dallas and learning about stuff here, I was ready to go with Monkey (buddy bands are my new best friend!).

I wanted to tell you I think what you did was wonderful! The fact that you saw this little guy, went and saved him without hesitation says so much about you...how fortunate these little babies were that you came into their lives. Hooray for you - you are truly an Angel!

Hi everybody!

The meeting today went well beyond my greatest hopes. The couple drove down from Ft. Worth, and we met in the middle (Waco TX). They were really sweet and knowledgeable about dogs. They have a house with a big yard, a doggie door and many fur siblings for Monkey to romp with. I already got photos of Mr. Monkey playing with his new fur-brother. The couple were so sweet, I wanted them to adopt me too! We met up at the Waco dog park so Monkey got to play and visit with everyone before they took him home.

So fingers crossed that it all works out. I promised them if anything happens, call me and I will take him back. I just want him to have the best home and a lifetime of love!
