Saw a little yorkiw that was hit by a car and saw it was still breathing. Took her to the plainfield animal hospital. They said they can only try and get her stable not much else they can do. Please if this is your dog go and claim her no dog deserves to suffer alone.

| I called the animal hospital. They named her Gianna. She is stable and doing much better. No one has come forward. I left my name and number. She is going to have the doctor call me. I asked what would happen if no one came forward and she asked if I would be interested in taking her and I said I would. I've been looking at this post for two or three days now and it is killing me. I'm going to take a ride to see her next week when I am off and bring some stuff to her. I'm not going to let this little girl just rot by herself there, although I do think the staff is being very good with her and seem to be very fond of her. I will make the effort and steps to take her if no one comes forward even if for only fostering. I'm waiting to talk to the doctor to see the cost involved with what she needs to get her better. From what I understand she was very bad when they got her, but is doing much much better now. I will keep everyone posted. E. |

| Hey Kellie! So glad that someone took her to the vet. Especially in Plainfield. That's not such a good area, so be careful Jrsygal don't go alone.

| Update. Hard to believe Gianna AKA GiGi is with us two years since picking her up from the animal hospital. Just wanted everyone to know thatbshe is well and we love her very much. In 18 years of having Yorkies, G has to be one of the most well behaved. We still do not know her exact age and never will but we estimate her to be about eight. She has come a long ways from that pittiful little girl she was when we brought her home. She is enjoying life and has fit right in with our Yorkies and has even made good friends with out Hahn's Macaw Hahnna. I wish I could post pictures but it is saying I exceeded the size. I just cannot remember how to size them and post them the gal that originally picked G up, took her to the vet and posted looking for help, well, we still keep in touch and she will always be a hero to us.
