| Well I get the infamous 'posting has been deleted by it's author'. I certainly hope they found a home for the poor thing and that is why it was deleted. |

| I usually get these postings on urgent list on FB. NYC? Can you tell me which ACC, is it Brooklyn, Manhattan etc? The post was deleted. I am off tomorrow Tuesday and can pull him if I know where he is. It's possible a rescue has already pulled him, because I get all the urgents on FB, normally they are Pitties and lately a lot of Shizus. If you can give me some more info I will try to find out and if he's there see if they will let me pull him. Elaine |

| Just wanted to also say it's not uncommon for them to be immediatly on the Euth list. NYC ACC is horrible. They had a woman volunteering with them, that would take pictures of the dogs (Mainly Pitties) interacting with people and post them instead of the terrible pictures of them just in the kennel, this way interested people could see how loving they were and she was fired, although I don't know how you can fire somoene who volunteers. Same with another volunteer a man who did the same. We have them both on FB and have been fighting to get them reinstated. The dogs get terrible temperment testing. In one case they had a male dog tested with another un neutered male and of course the male dog failed, but I mean really what genious would have two un neutered males try to interact for a temperment test. Also they use a plastic arm to test for food aggression. These dogs are starved when they are brought in and then they have some foreign plastic hand grabbing at their food dish while they are trying to eat, probably the first they had food in god knows how long. It's just a horrible shelter system. Please let me know and I will do what I can to locate and find out what happened to him and or pull him myself. E. |

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | sorry i posted and ran. My friend sent me the link on Facebook and i just quickly posted it here but haven't been able to get back on. The yorkie was in the Manhatten ACC. oh, and the plastic hand is used by shelters, vets, rescues, etc. its the safest way to test for food aggression. Would you rather stick your own hand in a dogs bowl, starved or not?
