| FINALLY - a GREAT Craigslist posting I found this on the DC area Craigslist. It's not my endorsement for a specific rescue, but I thought it was wonderful that someone took the time to promote the idea: Yorkie Rescue - Plz Consider! (Wash, DC) A few months ago it broke my heart to have to rehome my little Yorkie boy. I wanted to get him the best home possible. Please - if your rehoming your Yorkshire Terrier or Yorkie-cross, consider giving him/her to a Yorkie rescue group. I worked with Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue (Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue) and they were absolutely wonderful. My baby is in a new home that was approved by experts. They will take all ages and really work hard to find an appropriate home for each animal they take in. They even met me to pick him up. I know that some folks may call me irresponsible but I did the best that I could and found a group to help me find him a qualified home. Please, consider a breed specific rescue! | That is a great posting. It's so nice to see someone telling others that rescues can, and do, help. Thanks for sharing this!
