Camden didn't even look like a Yorkie when we got her, she was a mess. She would have been deemed "ugly" and most would have walked by her in a shelter. Most of them just need a good grooming & proper vet care and love! I wish I could foster, but we have three and I'm not in a position to do so. It's heart breaking though. I wish people would pay attention to this problem more!

| Actually the point is to stop people from buying ANY breed before researching! If I had a nickel for every person who surrendered their yorkie due to housebreaking issues and other breed related issues, I would have a nice bank account.

| Max is going to be euthanized!! Please, if anyone can help, PM me. I feel terrible that this poor little guy is going to be euthanized tomorrow. I simply do not have room for him. I am praying that someone will help him today.

| Pics of Max Poor little guy does not deserve this. He is heartworm positive because someone failed him...now he will be PTS before he gets to know that there are people who really do care properly for pups. He is a mess but that is because he had fleas and has some irritation on his skin; but he is adorable. Weighs about 7 pounds. Just look at his face.....This is just killing me to sit here knowing he will die tomorrow. max1.jpg max2.jpg max3.jpg

| Even if someone could help us get him to NC?? And...no I don't have time to try to find a trucker or pilot to do it. It would have to be someone who might be flying to either Atlanta or Charlotte in the very near future. I could hold him until then.

| Rescues are no good!! Quote:
She also went on to tell this newbie and I quote " I dont see anything wrong with getting a puppy for Christmas. I will have a litter the first of Oct that would be ready but my price range is 600 to 1000 girls are more expensive plus you would have shipping ." I posted the whole PM (without the sender's name) in another section. I'm not trying to cause an argument with this member, but I'm disgusted that a "DONATING MEMBER" No less would give such trash advice and to rip apart a rescue just to make a buck is shameless!! | I know someone who works for Delta and does in cabin transport. They are based in Atlanta. I think the charge is about $300, but it might be less for such a short flight. |
