| What does purdy (not sure of spelling) mean? We lost our yorkie to cancer in May. We feel so lost without her, we have decided to start shopping for a new companion. Today we looked at some puppies & we were told they have purdy in them. We were unsure what that meant. The breeder told us it had to do with the bloodline, or something like that. Can anyone tell me what this means? |

| I think you mean "parti" which means they are tri colored. Look up parti yorkies and see the pictures. They are very pretty. Cherie |

| So sorry about the loss of your little one. "Purdy" in Kentucky means pretty, but feel sure that is not what the breeder meant.

| You could call the breeder and ask him/her again. Don't feel like you couldn't do that... |

| Maybe it's pedigree? But that doesn't make sense either. It's more likely parti. Good luck on your search.
