| That must have been difficult for her to write. We love our babies so much.

| I live fairly close to Richmond, so I've emailed the CraigsList poster to get more information. I'll let everyone know what I find out. |

| I hope someone is able to pay her bill... Poor girl, stuck at the vet until someone bails her out Maybe someone who works there will fall in love with her?

| I exchanged emails with the owner of the dog yesterday. She had taken her puppy to the vet and she'd just gotten out of surgery. Someone had already responded to the ad, and was going to pick up the dog on Thursday. The puppy will need another procedure in about 4 weeks. The owner said she'd saved to buy the dog, but just didn't have the extra savings for a $1400 vet bill. It was a very sad situation, but I commended the owner on taking her dog to be treated and having the courage to ask for help. We've all seen the permanent crippling (or worse) that follows when an owner is afraid of a big vet bill and doesn't get an injured pet treated. |
