His owner had sent an email pleading for immediate help. I called her and she had me in tears. All she wanted was to save his life. She even offered to take one of our other fosters and foster him/her if it would help free up a spot for Bentley.

She simply could not afford it and wanted him saved.

Good for her. Not everyone has thousands of $$ laying around so she did the right thing. It had to be hard to do but he's in good hands.

keep those rescue stories coming - so good to hear the good ones.

Thank you YHR for taking in Bentley and having his LS closed off before it could have cause more damage. One of our adopted pups, DJ, had his LS closed at 6 1/2 yrs old while biopsies were being done. Keep us posted.

LSU just called and Bentley is going into surgery now. His foster mom and I are comforted knowing that so many here are praying for him.

I will update as soon as I hear something!
