Today is not as bright. Roriee woke up in an agitated mood today. She is going to the vet for scheduled lab work.

We all need to keep in mind that this is a severely ill little pupster. I received a copy of her MRI last night and sat here and cried. The amount of damage to her brain is overwhelming.

Making decisions regarding pups that are this ill is always extremely difficult. Knowing how far to go and/or not go is where we are right now.

Roriee and her foster parents and her vet need our prayers for sure.

Everything that can be done for her is being done. That is all anyone can do. We are all hoping and pulling for her.

I can only imagine how hard it is for you to make these decisions ladyjane. I am only an outsider who simply became involved by chance and I know how I feel about this precious little girl. For what it's worth, I think you and everyone involved in Roriee's care since her surrender have done everything humanly possible to improve her quality of life. No matter what comes her way, she now knows that people are praying for her and have been touched by her story. Even if it's her time to leave this earth she has had the best of care and a foster Mommy & Daddy who have done everything possible. My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

No matter what decisions that are made regarding Roriee's quality of life we can all be assured that she is receiving the very best care that can be provided. She has more love then any other little one could possibly ever need being looked after by an entire community of Yorkie lovers. Everyone that is following this story so closely has taken her into their hearts, help to support her care and are pulling for her to be pain free. No matter what the final outcome, Roriee has pulled a community together for a very tight bond that I KNOW will continue for a very long time to come. :ghug:

It amazes me every day when I open my email and there are more people to thank who are able to help with her care. :animal36 In addition, all those that are praying for her and keeping up with her story this love goes even further. :) It is very bittersweet that Roriee has been able to bring together so many people.

Roriee has become a huge learning experience for so many people about the passion that goes into volunteering with an rescue organization.

Please let her foster family know that we all stand them in their love of the breed and devotion to not only Roriee but all of the other little ones as well.

We are all praying for Roriee. I think most of us understand and agree that no one would want her to suffer if no help was available. She is so precious.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support! I have sent Roriee's foster mom the link to this thread. I know it will comfort her. She is so conflicted right now...and I totally understand as I have been there.

This news saddens me, but we knew things were not good.

I hate to hear this for little Roriee but I understand it is what it is. I am so thankful that I do not have to make these decisions on her behalf. Quality of life is important too; I have always felt that. Sending prayers to Roriee and to those caring for her.

These decisions are probably the hardest ever to make. I trust that Roiree's team will do what is the right thing to do in her case. My heart goes out to her foster Mom, while we wait for updates and post our good wishes, sorrow and love, she is the one there physically for Roiree and I know what she is going through.:(

God lead their hearts and minds to what is best for Roiree.

I know YHR will make the very best decision for sweet Roriee, and that's all you can do, and all we can ask.

Little Roriee has become somewhat of a poster-child for rescue, and for the ability of an internet community to come together for a cause.

Bless all of those who are caring for her and helping make decisions. You have the hardest job of all, we just get to love and support her.

If the day comes that she is to rest in peace, Little Roriee will go knowing she was well loved and cared for, and is a hero for bringing awareness to pups in need and those who help them.
