Needing your advice

I am in the process of filling out my application to be a foster. I know it will be hard to let them go but after they find their forever home then I am available to help another one. I get attached easily but the thought of them going to a forever home where they will be wanted and loved will be worth it. My heart breaks at the thought of them not having a foster home or a forever home.

I hear from my former fosters all of the time and that is what keeps me going....knowing that they are so loved!

we can ask the adopting parents to keep in touch and let us know how everything is going? I like that

I believe that it depends on who you foster for. I have been told that some groups do not allow foster homes to know where their pups go. I don't know how people can foster under those terms, but I guess they have faith.

YHR encourages foster homes to maintain contact. I have made some very nice friendships with people who adopted my foster pups.

it would be if I can't keep in contact with them I'm going to ask the rescue.
