I can imagine, how bad they must feel, and I truly empathise when the person said there aren't many jobs, I can only speak personally when I say this, " I would rather have no job " and beg for food than do this to animals, that said I am NOT judging people who do, do it as a job, I just couldn't personally.

I couldn't do it either, but I'm glad that there are people who have compassion that can do it. Look at South America, starving dogs are roaming the streets because they don't have the money to euthanize them. Here, we have irresponsible pet owners who refuse to spay and neuter, and then we have all those people who think they can make some extra money by breeding, yet don't try to find really good homes for the dogs they produce and they don't really care if the breed is a good match for the buyer. Fifty percent of shelter dogs are owner relinquished.

Yes, I do understand the dilema I really do, I just wish, as many do, that they would NOT gas them.

Thanks for finding this! I signed it for SURE. It is so cruel. And I love how honest they are on petfiner "We are a HIGH KILL shelter"... not something to be proud of buddy

Nancy that was the most horrific sad thing that I have ever read. I am sitting her in tears because I KNOW how loving dogs are, it is their nature to be loving and wonderful members of our family. So very, very sad.

When I read the email that Linda sent out to YHR members this afternoon, I read it allowed to my husband.

He was SHOCKED that dogs are gassed and I had to explain to him how they go about doing it. His comment to me was "OMG, that is like Nazi concentration camps!" I had a lump in my throat that still has not gone away. I have known for a while this is going on and signed petitions in the past. I posted the petition to my Facebook to try to get the word out to more people.

I know I will not sleep well tonight thinking about this.

Someone PLEASE PLEASE rescue him, someone has said his owner has got him back, but he is still down on this site to be GASED on Saturday PLEASE PLEASE don't let that happen.

I am in the UK so I cannot help him.

Anyone in North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia, Please help this Boy. He is scheduled to be GASED AND KILLED on Saturday.....PLEASE HELP HIM ...

I just called they stated there is a ceritified letter for him and he has an owner...

Hi What does a certified letter mean? If he has an owner why is he still on thier website, and has a Put To Sleep date for this saturday?

That was all the lady would tell me, and that he wasnt available.

I just called again to make sure and all they would say is that He has an owner, and will not be PTS.

im sitting on yt, with a cuppa, rainin and gale force winds outside, furbutts curled up beside me, quite happy till i read this post... i never knew this went on infact i never ever heard of it. i read the part of the person that has to gas the dogs and could not stop crying, i have a flippin headache now, this has just totally shocked me! i have signed,,,,,
