I couldn't do it either, but I'm glad that there are people who have compassion that can do it. Look at South America, starving dogs are roaming the streets because they don't have the money to euthanize them. Here, we have irresponsible pet owners who refuse to spay and neuter, and then we have all those people who think they can make some extra money by breeding, yet don't try to find really good homes for the dogs they produce and they don't really care if the breed is a good match for the buyer. Fifty percent of shelter dogs are owner relinquished.
