| Sweet girl needs a home ... I posted this in the Regional forum also ..... ... Yorkie Rescue Colorado has a very sweet girl that needs a forever home ... meet Daisy: [This bio comes from Daisy's wonderful foster Mom who knows this little girl better than anyone!] Daisy comes to us from the Arkansas puppy mill raid in March. She is estimated to be a young 6 to 8 years old. After being a mommy at the puppy mill, she is a loving and extremely trusting Yorkie mix, mostly likely mixed with Dachshund. There are four things to know about Daisy; she is healthy, acts as young as my 4 year old Schnoodle, smiles and loves people. Daisy has to be on a special diet (Hills C/D, plenty of fresh water and no treats or human food) after having bladder stones removed before coming into her foster home. She has also been spayed after having several litters. Like all of her mates from the puppy mill, Daisy had to have some dental work done. She had 7 teeth removed and the rest are now sparkling white. She looks and acts healthy and young. Since being in foster care, she has filled out at a svelte 10 pounds. She loves to go for walks. At first, being out of the kennel she was a little weak but now she is up to 1.5 miles and would go further if I did. Daisy actually smiles and when we are around people, she stops to wait for attention. She loves to sit in your lap, cuddle and be the center of your world. She has adjusted very well to being a pet and everyone who meets her finds it hard to believe where she came from. She would be ok with another small dog. She is not aggressive but does get jealous if she is not getting attention. She does well in an x-pen during the day and loves to sleep next to you at night without a stir. We are working on potty training after years of being kenneled 24/7. We are doing better and with persistence she will also master this. Daisy has been through quite a bit in her life but she doesn’t let it get to her. If you cuddle and pet her, she will be devoted to you. If you, or perhaps someone you may know, would like a devoted little cuddlebug, please check our website. We really need homes for these little ones. They have been in foster care longer than most rescues and we don't want them to suffer emotional trauma when they find forever homes. Our foster parents have done outstanding jobs in rehabilitating these babies, both physically and emotionally. These little ones find so much joy in little things that most just take for granted!

| Thank you both so much for your kind replys ... this little girl deserves a wonderful home. We have another sweety, Darci, on our website who is also ready to be adopted. These babies have come such a long way since rescued from that awful puppymill in Arkansas back in March. Their foster Mom's have worked diligently to make sure they are in great physical condition and are emotionally ready for the very best forever homes.
