Poor little thing is so pooped.She's scheduled to be spayed next week and have a check-up. She's about 8 or 9 months old. She's quite timid when you get close to her face (hard telling what she went through). But she's not left my side since she's been here. Everytime I move, she moves

We went and bought her a new collar, cute little outfit to make her feel a little more "glamorous" until I can work on her 'do, and my little girl has bravely given up her "bankie" for the little furbaby as you can see in the picture

Not to mention she's eating like she's NEVER seen food before. The little sweetie is nothing but skin and bones

But we are sooo glad to have her here. And I had no idea how good it would feel to save a life

Congrats congrats congrats on getting beautiful little Miley2. Isn't it wonderful knowing that you get to give them the love they have never known. And like someone said its like they know you saved them they become attached so quickly. Best of luck in everything with her and God bless you.

Who would've thought that in a little over a week I'd be the proud Mom of 3 beautiful furbabies! After getting the word out on here and through family/friends, I've added 1 more to my family. A lady my sister-in-law works with told me about one of her neighbor's suspected byb'ing and said they had a tiny little boy that they left tied out 24-7. Of course I was immediately concerned about this little guy's welfare, so I arranged to make a "friendly" & "nonchalant" visit with this neighbor today.

I'll spare you all the details of the condition her home and the few dogs she had left. Apparently her husband got sick and she's given up the byb'ing operation she had going. She said she had "placed" the other dogs she once owned, but had just planned on getting the little boy outside PTS. She said he was no good to anyone because he had a bad eye (I'm not 100% positive if he's blind out of it, if it's a cataract or what). After telling her I'd like to have him she immediately decided he was now "worth" something and then the negotiating began!

I was determined that I was not leaving without the dog, so in the end I ended up literally throwing $200 at her and telling her what kind of person she was as I walked out her door with MY new dog. I think somewhere in my ranting and raving I may have called her a few choice names

Anyway, I now have a tiny little boy who will be spending the rest of his life INDOORS, in the comfort of his new home, with his new fursisters, Miley #1 & Miley #2!

The woman said he was 2 yrs old, so I will go with that until his vet visit. His right eye will have to be checked too, as I am not sure whether he's actually blind in it or not, or if it could be a cataract . He will also get "snipped" very soon. He weighs in at just under 4lbs. He's slowly realizing I'm NOT going to hurt him and has decided that curling up in my lap and getting a belly rub is a good thing

I hadn't planned on adding a 3rd furbaby anytime soon, but who could deny that sweet little face?

I don't know who is luckier ~ you or your furbutts! Miley II's story brought a tear to my eye....and now this little one? You have a big heart to take in these two babies! I applaud you!
