OMG...I am still in shock about this whole story!! I am so excited!! My little Tucker is doing great! Tevo will be on his way to his new life on Saturday and Stewie is getting out of jail in on Tuesday!! I am so excited....

Don't worry, Tevo and I will really meet on Saturday morning at 8 am, so I will be getting and giving lots of love!!

I haven't called the shelter yet today...think I'm gonna stop by to see the fellas this afternoon!!!

I more than love them! I have seen so much good happen through YHR. The kindness and integrity of the people involved is second to none.

He will be between us...in Angleton! Come on down...we can go to lunch or something! You can visit my gang any time. :D But be warned, they jump on visitors and rule the roost here. :D

That is so sweet of you to say. You do know that we do what we do only because of people like you and others who have helped to support us from day one. We mean what we say when we say our donors are also rescuers. No rescue can survive without the kindness of people like you and many others on YT and everywhere!

I just told someone today that I have seen from the worst to the best in people since getting involved in rescue. The best and the pups is what keeps all of us going.

I guess it is come on UP. :D

I can't even begin to imagine all those they've helped, and how.

I actually have a picture of Truman on my fridge that YHR sent to me and I look at it often in amazement of how far he's come. They didn't send me one of little Teagan with their note, but those two stories in particular have inspired me to do more (I mean, Teagan is WALKING!). More of what I don't know - I'm still figuring that out. Until I do, I'm trying to watch and learn.

Truman and Teagan are wonderful stories for sure! There are so many miracles out there.
That is so sweet that you helped both of them...that is helping rescue in an enormous way! There are many other things that you can do to help with rescues.
We have a list that we send out to people. Some groups have a list posted online.
There is so much more that one can do .. not everyone can foster.

Oh...and in response to the cards and picture....most rescues rely on volunteers who donate cards and postage, at least that is what we do. The pictures were a recent addition donated by a YHR member. I always love to hear that someone has theirs!

Good Morning!!

I forgot to post yesterday....

I went to the animal shelter to visit Stewie and Tevo yesterday at lunch.

Stewie was just so excited to see me and I held him for a bit and let him run around the room. He is a doll, I just love his spunk!

Then I went to the back room and saw Tevo. He was just jumping in his kennel! The dude has personality! He is a love bug! I let him know that everything is going to be alright! He was jumping and licking my hands like crazy!! He is going to make someone an awesome furbaby!! The employee at the shelter didn't let me take him out of his kennel, which is really like a dog run, but I know he knew we are going to help him out of the situation he is currently in.

Tucker is doing great! He has the pottying down pat and I am so happy about that! He seems to already know I am his mommy and he is liking that!!

I went to the shelter yesterday to be sure that everyone there is in agreement with Tevo being picked up on Saturday morning to be transported and the lady there seemed thrilled that YHR worked so hard on this poor baby! So Saturday morning I will be there before 8:00 a.m. to finally get him out of jail!! I am going to go today to get Tevo a kennel, and blanket and a toy or two for his "release" celebration!!
