I was watching all of this unfold while at work today totally helpless to offer any help. But I have to say that I just KNEW in my heart that you would be able to make it happen. Tevo is a beautiful little guy and deserves to live a happy. Thank you so much for working your YHR magic once again! :hug: Linda you ARE my idol and I can only hope to be able to save even a quarter of the yorkies you have been able to and I am proud to call myself a member of YHR!

While we are all crying tears of joy over this wonderful outcome, everyone that is reading this thread should stop and take a look at all of the pup on the YHR website! Yorkie Haven Rescue

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Tevo was breaking my heart, the tears have been flowing all day. I kept going back and looking at his sweet, innocent face, just imagining how sad he must be :(

This is so wonderful and I will be praying very, very, very hard that this can be pulled off.

My offer to contribute some gas money still stands, please just let me know which is the best way to get it to you. It's not much, but I really really want to give something to help.

P.S. In looking at his photos, his skin/hair doesn't look to bad. I wonder if he has demodex rather than the sarcoptic mange :confused:

This story just really warms my heart. Thank you so much Linda and Trina! You two are absolute sweethearts for doing so much to help. Hearing this story is just the greatest way to end a day.
I'm starting to get all teary eyed!

You are an angel Jodi....I did nothing more than you have done. All I really did was make a bunch of calls and email people and beg. This worked out because of all the positive energy and prayers. I cannot wait to see this little guy healthy and happy and looking for a home that will be his forever!

Thank you! I do not want any money for gas....you can send to Trina. Or, once he is in YHR you can donate. Never say anything is not much. We have a one dollar fundraiser going. If you look at our site you will see that it is going very well. There is a thermometer that is counting all of the dollars. It is pretty wonderful!! :)

Most important is the prayers!! We still need to get him here...I am just so afraid that something will happen at the shelter. Trina and I are calling in the morning and I have sent them an email already. They were very clear about his time being up and I don't want them to euthanize one day ahead..you just never know. So...please keep praying!

I have seen pups come into rescue with a diagnosis of mange that turned out to be allergies. So...you are right..until he has a skin scraping we will not know for sure. Honestly, I would rather see it be sarcoptic...demodex can be a royal pain and keep coming back and irritating them.

I love the thermometer and WOW DOLLAR DAYS was such a wonderful idea to help with the pups! What was it that you noticed?............3000 people looked at the YHR pups in one month......if each donated just $1 :eek:WOW just image the good that we could accomplish :p:p:p

Hey...I'm just seeing all of this unfold...I DO live in Louisiana, and put in an online application to adopt Tevo, but guess I am too late:(. I hope wherever he ends up makes his life happy. Muffins mom:animal-pa

What great news! Hang in there little Tevo, someone will be there to spring you in no time!

Thanks for all the begging LadyJane! I wish I knew people in LA but I dont:( Once he gets to you or somewhere close, please keep us up to date on his needs. Maybe you can tell me what his favorite toys are and I can get a suprise package together for him!

Oh my gosh, yes what a good idea! I just got a $2 rebate check and I was like, um thanks what the heck am I going to do with $2!? It isnt worth the gas to make a trip to the bank! Lol! Now I know what I am going to do with it!:)

That's so cool! I had a friend count the change in her desk and send it..she found $5 .. then, I went to my car and found $8. Money neither of us is missing and it is going to help a yorkie in need.
It is so neat to see how those dollars are adding up!

Just signed the adoption agreement and faxed it to the shelter! Tevo will be out of jail on Saturday at 8AM and on his way to TX and a new life! :D
