| Yorkies in need of homes IL I found her online Attachment 278064 Hope - ID#2257762 My name is Hope. I am a female, black and tan Yorkshire Terrier. I am a puppy. I am available for adoption now! Email: United Yorkie Rescue - IL - Peoria Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: Update 04-16-09: Hello - Hope here! FM took me to get my first shots this week-OW! I am getting around quite well, still a little shaky, but I can manage. FM started giving me canned puppy food this week. Boy, do I like that - sure beats that milk stuff she's been pouring down my throat. I will turn 7 weeks old this Sunday, so I thought I should put a couple of new pics up for everyone to see. Thanks for all of the interest so far. Again, FM and FD are keeping all of the applications for future reference, as I won't be ready to go to my new furever home for a few more months still. Talk to you soon! Hope Update 03/30/09: Hello all, Hope here! I took my first steps today - wow! that's a lot of work. The vet said I gained 2 more ounces this past week. FM and FD weren't surprised though...they see me polish off the bottle everytime they feed me. A big thanks to all of the inquiries and applications I have received already! Please be aware, however, that I won't be ready for my new forever home for several more months. I have to be six months old before I can get spayed, so it won't be until after that before I am ready to leave here. Anyway, keep an eye out for updates to my postings. I'll let you know of any more updates as I learn them. Hope PLEASE KEEP LITTLE HOPE IN YOUR PRAYERS!! UPDATE: 03-21-09: WE HAVE RECEIVED $20.00 TOWARDS HOPE'S SPECIAL CARE NEEDS! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Initial Bio: 03-20-09: Hope is a 3 week old puppy that was surrendered due to her being rejected by the puppy's mother. She was born with only one eye and has a slight cleft lip. She was born March 1st and weighs a whopping 9 ounces. She was checked by the vet this morning and appears healthy other than the congenital problems listed above. She will be bottle fed and re-evaluated as needed. Stay tuned for more information. |
