Hello everyone, Can people from yours and Amandas general areas create a Yorkie train?? Maybe each even doing just an hour or two?? I would be very willing but I am in Chattanooga and way to far away to help. Good Luck to all envolved, MOSTLY to EMMA....... poor baby. Yes, they do look like DIFFERENT dogs in the pics. So sorry all of this has happened to your family. Keep the Faith. God Bless... Sharon~~ PIXI & SPIKE siblings at 4months. what a handful and I LOVE IT!!! ttfn |
Please Gina, let Amanda have her. Five hours is nothing to drive to make sure the dog has a good home. I don't see how you can with a clear concinence (I know it's spelled wrong. LOL) turn her down. I have driven far longer than that for my dogs. If for some reason you are unable then at least meet her halfway. How can you turn this offer down? Isn't it what you have wanted? Good luck to you and little Emma.:) |
Hubby said we could meet somewhere along the way... |
Amanda, you are such an amazing person. I truly admire you. Teiya, this is your chance. Don't let this opportunity pass you by :) I'm sure that a Yorkie train could be made to transport Emma. 5 hrs isn't *that* far! |
Such a wonderful loving gesture Amanda..this sounds like the perfect thing for Emma!:thumbup::thumbup: |
Amanda!!!! I have gas money!!!! |
Ok, I talked to my friend who runs a rescue here in my area. She will allow me to post Emma on her site, and cross-post her on another rescue site in the area as well as on their Petfinder listings. This is amazing and just shows the true compassion that is in dog rescue. Gina and I will be handling the adoption exclusively, should Gina take me up on the offer. Please let me know, Gina. Hubby said we could meet you whenever you wanted. |

Teiya, I hope you take Amanda up on this offer. Sometimes we make mistakes in life and make poor choices, but this can become a win/win situation for you if you are willing to take a monetary loss. I think there's a good chance of finding the right home for this dog, and right now that should be your number one priority. What is the lowest price you are willing to accept for this dog? It sounds like money may be the reason why you're hesitant about placing the dog with Amanda. I know it's always hard to lose money, but I think you have gained some valuable information on what qualities to look for in a breeder. I would hate for you to sell her to someone who will just use her for breeding, and unless she's spayed, that's very likely. So, how much do you want for this dog? |
People please! I know emotions are running high here regarding this situation but damn... I've been on an emotional roller coaster over this for a week now. Just please stop. Put yourselves in MY shoes here. I'm SO sick of being made out to be the bad guy. I've sat here and been called so many things these last 2 days, looks in the eyes of suspicion of my own intentions and basically interrogated via PM. I'm not going to deal with this. I started this thread in good faith asking questions and help to advertise the dog PROPERLY, rehoming fees and if anyone had a contract. Amanda, I'll talk to my hubby when he gets home and see what we can work out and what he thinks. He's a part of this too and it was his money as well. We've lost so much and it's not that I don't trust you, but sending the dog to another state to someone we don't know is asking me to extend more of a risk. The last person I placed trust in on YT lied to me, stole my money and slandered me in public. Try to see where I'm coming from. Right now, I know I'm booked solid with Avian rescue this weekend and Tuesday. I have several parrot adoptions pending and have to get the home evaluations done and 3 more coming into rescue that I need to pick up between saturday and sunday and place in foster care. In the event I can get my husband to agree to removing Emma from our custody, could we maybe do a mid week transport? |

I understand where you are coming from and do not envy your situation. I am very sorry about all of it. I understand you do not know me any better than you knew Jasmanea, and for all you know I could be just as crazy. Anyway, you and your husband need to do what's right for you and your family. I know you said that you wanted her out of your home because it's not right for Teiya or Emma. I was just trying to give you another option. Everyone, I appreciate all your support and your kind comments mean so much to me. Everything happens for a reason, and the main thing is that Emma has not been sold to a breeder to pump out puppies. Let's let Gina and her family digest all of this and come up with the best possible solution for everyone involved. And yes, I would be willing to meet you anytime, whether it be this weekend or next week. Take a break, go out to dinner and clear your head. I know that's what we're doing tonight! Blackberry margarita here I come!! |
Amanda, Let's do that. You drink a blackberry margarita for me and I'll consume mass quantities of chocolate martini's for you! Dinner sounds like a good idea! I haven't eaten or slept much in the last few days. In any event, we'll work on this together to find the best possible solution. I'm going to need someone to keep me sane! |
Just sending GOOD thoughts that Emma finds herself in a safe, loving, and trustworthy forever home very soon!!!! She deserves that!!! |
