Happy Dance!!!! Well, after several weeks of waiting, I finally get to bring Noelle home Monday!! After her adoption w/ Verna fell through, I contacted the agency and they said she was still available. We filled out an app. and they told me today we were approved! Thanks to Yorkiesmiles and everyone on this site that cared about this sweet girl. I can't wait till Monday!!!

Wow that is wonderful news. See things work out for the best and now not one but two little ones have found new forever homes!

Well, I couldn't wait! I called the foster mom early this a.m. and asked if we could come get her today. We drove up and met her and now we have Noelle with us! She's beautiful! She and my Lexi have played so hard now both are sleeping soundly. The loss of her eye doesn't seem to have slowed her at all, although she is startled if you touch her on that side of her face. I'll try to post pics of her tomorrow if she slows down enough. All I could get tonight was her rear as she ran around. We will be changing her name though if she will. My mother has a Noelle, so we were thinking of calling her Ellie. Hopefully she'll adjust. Thanks again to all!

I'm just so exited that this post might have helped this beautiful girl find a furever home! I'm thrilled that we may all get a chance to see her blossom here on YT!!

Ellie is adapting wonderfully to her new home. She is a sweet, loveable, little fireball! Although not having had the best start in life, I think she's making the most of it! She completely ignores the toys her foster mom sent with her, chosing instead to take Lexis' toys from her. They chase each other all over the house, one stealing from the other. I can really see why her foster mom, Jackie, had a hard time letting go of her. She went Easter Egg hunting today and she was a hit with the whole family. I haven't noticed any really bad habits from her yet, potties mostly on puppy pads or outside, gets along well with everyone, 4 legged or 2. She sleeps with us and sleeps all night as long as we don't get up. I believe we're all a perfect match! How fitting we brought her home on Good Friday! Happy Easter to all!
