He is beautiful. Why is it that everyone thinks all Yorkies hate or can't get along with children?

(It says so on the Petfinders site and I keep hearing it from people) My two LOVE kids. They romp and chase and play with my grandkids all the time. It is a shame that a blanket statement like that is made. Some dogs might miss out on great homes because there are children around.

OMG! He's so cute and he's 8! How could anyone dump him at the pound in the middle of the night? I can't believe the things that people do sometimes. Can you just imagine how scared he must have been and confused he must be now? That poor little guy...

How close do you have to be??? It says possible surrounding states. I have been trying to call my sister in law she is looking for a friend for Tia.

This is a cutie little boy. I hope he will be adopted soon by loving and caring people. I agree the yorkies do get along with kids. My yorkie gets along with kids just fine, all you need to do is be extra careful that the children don't accidnetly hurt the dog. Children that are educated in how to treat and respect a dog will get along well.

I'm confused. I went on the site of the same rescue as koko(see link from above) and found another dog name Charlee that is in need of adoption. But it looks like the two dog are the same dog.
