There also was a really cute toy poodle and a s**tzu. The last 2 are up on Sunday. Remember these are popular dogs so go early. | I contacted the East Valley Shelter on Tuesday about the first yorkie. Her name is Kiwi and she is 7 years old. At the time, she was on hold because she has a microchip and they are trying to find her owner. She was found at a local school. I was told that, if they didn't find her owner, that she would be available at 11AM on Thursday (yesterday) but was assured that healthy dogs such as she is, are not euthanized. They also noted that others had already expressed interest in her.
