| Is there anyone wanting an adult Yorkie?? These Yorkies are from Ohio. this breeder is wanting to retire and rehome her Yorkies. They are all AKC. There is 4 females and one male. They will go to pet homes only, The breeder got their shots up to date and They will not go with their AKC papers. She has agreed to spay/ nuter these Yorkies before rehoming but you must pay for the spay. nuter probaly $100.00 These Yorkies I have meet a few of them and they all seem to be related. A rescue was suppose to pick these babies up today , But there was a no show, so if they do decide to show up these dogs will go to them first because they asked first. But The breeder cant hang onto them for long. there is a thread where two of the Yorkies I psoted pictures on. I will locate that thread and ad dit to this post below. Reese1 has one of her dogs Camden, you can see from her threads shes a beautiful girl after being groomed and all. These babys has been through alot with waiting on their forever homes, every time someone calls and says they will take them something happens and they never show. My is Debbie / YT user Name Yorkieshadow. I am just posting this for this Breeder. but you can call her and ask any info you need to know. Shes a Nice lady and will answer any question you might have, I Got my male Yorkie from her in 2004 He is now 4 lbs at age three and hes a very loving momma's boy. His parents are Sire LUCKY O'LEPRECHAUN (Lucky) Dame PITZER'S JUDABOB BETSY (Betsy) 1. Breeders name is Maxine Pitzer 2. Her city, state: Greenfield, Ohio 3 Her phone number: pm me for that info 4. Weight of Yorkie(s) 3-6 lbs 9. Current weight of Yorkie(s) 3-6 lbs 10. Registration if any (AKC, etc): AKC 11. Price: AKC But papers will not go with them they are pet only 12. When Yorkies will be ready to be taken home:Now 13. Do you ship your Yorkies: No 14. Any additional information you want to add: I Will try and tell you a little of what I know about her Yorkies. One of her studs has some champion in his pedigree, the other Stud has a lot of Champion in his pedigree. His Dad is pictured in the Yorshire Terrier Magaizine. not sure what year he was featured. You can call and ask more info on all of this by talking to the breeder her self. Im not sure witch litter he is dad to. Her Females also have lots of Ch in their pedigrees. some are JUDABOB'S some of these was kept for breeding but was either turned out to small or they are older and retired. or has went through a C-section and she dont breed them again. I got my male AKC Mickey from this breeder. What Ive seen of Her Yorkies Her Yorkies are Black/Tan Dark steel Blue/ Gold they are the short legged. Small short bodys Silky thick coats level backs, nice teeth tails docked medium length, small V shaped ears She does stay in the AKC standard. her Adult dogs weigh in at 3-7 lbs She has told me she has never had any faults or defects in her dogs as of heriditary/congenital disease in the form of patella luxation, open fontanellas, or collapsed trachea Shes been Breeding Yorkies for 25 years. I hope some of this info helps in your research in you finding your new pet If you get one from this breeder, Drop me a line, Id love to hear back from you. When calling her Just tell her Mickey's Mom Debbie gave you her info. Thanks all this info is what has been told to me, so please ask to make sure it is correct. all Im doing is trying to help find these Yorkies their forever loving homes. and you will also have to come meet these babys your self, No trains please, we think it would be to hard on these Yorkies, going from car to car. They are not use to noone but this breeder, Not use to kids. and not use to being in cars. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-out-here.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...le-yorkie.html Last edited by admin; 08-23-2008 at 01:58 PM. |

| I read your earlier thread and all the confusion with the rescue. I'm glad that you are asking YTers first. I live too far away, but I wish you luck in rehoming them. |

| Oh I wanted to add to the post above that one of these Yorkies are very small but seem to have a little longer legs then the rest of hers and I think she said is a little lighter in color. |

| Ok~everyone is settled down here so now I can think She told me that Melinda from the rescue has been in contact with her for a few weeks about picking up these dogs. With the passing of her mother, she has now decided that it is time to close her breeding business. Her mother DID NOT just pass away the other day. She needs the time to take care of her mother estate and get her affairs in order. Melinda and the rescue was not able to pick the dogs up until Labor Day weekend but offered to pick them up early since the Lab rescue was passing through the area and had room in their transport vehicle. That is why the lab rescue got involved. She has NOT heard from Melinda since yesterday night and did not know what was going on. I explained to her how I heard about this situation through YT and told her that I would read to her what Rustysmom had posted: Quote:
I then told her that everyone at YT was very worried that the dogs needed to go ASAP since she was leaving for the funeral but turns out that is not the case. She said they could stay right there until everything was sorted out with the NCYorkieRescue. Which is GREAT news! I told her my story about how I drove from Chicago to Ohio to pick up my Doodlebug in June and there is a rescue right in her area. We talked a little about my story and I then told her that if things didn't work out with NCYorkieRescue I am sure that they would be willing to take them if it came down to it. I left her my name and phone number and told her that I could contact them to give them a heads up about the situation. She will call me directly if things do not work out. I have already sent an email an email. They are right in the area (she actually knew the town) they do mostly Amish Puppymill rescues but I know they would take them in if need be. So be rest assured at this point someone WILL take these dogs. I will personally follow up with her during the week to see the status. They DO NOT NEED TO LEAVE TODAY, TOMORROW OR EVEN LATER IN THE WEEK. They can stay just as long as it is needed for them to go to a rescue. Whether it be NCyorkie rescue or now. I hope this answers everyone questions and puts peoples minds at ease. She truly sounded like a very nice older woman that just wants to end her business of breeding.

| I wanted to add one more thing~ If it does come down to the other rescue needing to take them in, I will make sure that it is understood that YT would get first choice for an adoption. I cannot promise anything but they are also in this for the love of all animals. It will all work out~this I truly believe!

In giving you this information I did not now they was going to yet another rescue. I thought you just wanted one of the Yorkies. so im really hoping that YT members who do want one get one. instead of going to a rescue and then to another home. Now That the breeder plans to have them fixed before rehoming them Thats even better. I already know that someone else has calle dher and are planning to get two of these Yorkies if the first rescue dont get them. Last edited by YorkieShadow; 08-23-2008 at 02:34 PM.

| [QUOTE=YorkieShadow;2198949]I do not know why you said her mom did not just pass away. Because she did, The breeder spent the last week with her at the hospital. she is planning the funeral and the mother estate . so I dont understand this. Yes I know the breeder would keep her Yorkies as long as needed to rehome them, shes not in a great hurry to just let them go, but with all she is going through with the loss of her mother and trying to rehome them and all the other things its got to be over whelming like she told me it was. so yes I think it is best for the dogs to find their homes asap. thats just to much for one person at one time. In giving you this information I did not now they was going to yet another rescue. I thought you just wanted one of the Yorkies. so im really hoping that YT members who do want one get one. instead of going to a rescue and then to another home. Now That the breeder plans to have them fixed before rehoming them Thats even better. I did not give her another rescue, I actually called to ask her if I could adopt one of the dogs. That is when she told me that she was not in a hurry, and wanted to wait for the rescue to come and take them. All I said to her was that I knew of another rescue if they TRULY needed to leave but she wants to wait! What I said to her was that IF NCrescue did not come for them to please call me back. I would see what WE AT YT could do to help her if her plan fell through. She told me that would be great. I would NEVER TAKE AWAY A RESCUE THAT WAS PROMISED. I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. What I told her was that IF THEY COULD NOT stay after next weekend and NCRESCUE did not come for them to let me know. Please reread what I wrote. I know that there are people here that might want a dog, I just offered her an alternate plan IF THEY DIDN'T got to the other rescue and she wanted them all gone ASAP as you mentioned. Maybe I didn't make myself clear in the post. She wants to wait for NCRescue~I understand that. I did email the other rescue to ask if it was an emergency if they would consider taking them but just for a possible alternate plan. All I was trying to do is avoid the mass hysteria from yesterday. If people want to go there and pick them up I think that is wonderful. But its always good to have a backup plan. I was more than willing to drive there TONIGHT and take one home with me. That is how strongly I felt about this~he!! I would have taken them all if she said they needed to go tonight. That is not the case. Please I never said that her mother didn't pass away~she said that she wanted to consentrate on TAKING CARE OF HER ESTATE since her mother passed away. I think the impression from yesterday was that she was leaving TODAY for her mother funeral and that is why they needed to go by last night. She never said she was leaving town~unless I misunderstood her. If other YTers have called her to make arrangements to pick up a dog that is great~but it seened from our conversation that she wanted to wait things out until next weekend and give NCRescue a chance to make arrangement to come and pick them up.

Your right and I posted that if anyone wanted these Yorkies to let me know but if that rescue still wanted them that they would go to them first. because she told them they could have them, I posted that already. read above. She did say she had to plan the funeral and all and that it was very hard with the death of her mother and all the planning needed there and plus rehome all her dogs at once was very hard on her, and I understand that. The last time I talked to her she said that the funeral will be awhile because they have Family out of state that wanted to be there. But the way you posted it above "Her mother DID NOT just pass away the other day" made me feel like you was saying I was lieing, and I wasnt. I have only posted what this breeder has told me. and I know this breeder will hold the dogs for NCRescue if they still wnat them. theres no problem with that. But most of the problem from yesterday was we didnt know or I didnt know this rescue, now I do. but Im glad you are thinking of the Yorkies and have a place for them to go if needed.

| I would love to see permanent homes found for these babies! Adopting Camden has made such a wonderful impact on our lives and our family! Taking in a dog that needed a loving home is such a rewarding feeling and I want that for Camden's relatives! I hope some YT members will consider some of these babies! Here is our Camden who is related to some if not all of these babies!
