With the help of the rescue team , my friend found the previous owners . They told her that they don't have time to loose with a old dog . My friend went to the police and they will have to go to court .

P.S. The local newspaper gave us spaces to place stories and photo of dogs that will be found by the rescue team . You can be sure we will use it to tell the peoples that animals are not objects they can put to garbage .

I do not know if we can find a foster home for him in our group, but I can contact other rescues if he is not close to us. Hopefully, we can get him some help.

He is located in Tenn (the craigs list is the Nashville area) - this is so sad....do you know any rescue groups in that area that could help

Amanda - Are you in the area of where this guy is?

If so, maybe you can go to her house and 'evaluate' him to see if he really is agressive like she says??? He may be sweet as pie, ppl are funny - who knows what the real deal is?

Someone has to save him, this is sad

If someone can get all the details and send it to me privately, I will email it to all of my contacts. Make sure she wants to surrender to rescue. Another thing she could do, is complete an owner surrender form on our website:

OR
United Yorkie Rescue They do have TN members from what I understand.

I am sure she would surrender to a rescue if there was one that would take him but because she said he is aggressive to other males, they will not take him..I was going to get him, but she would not let me have him because of me having males. I think if she were a liar, she would have let me come and get him and figure out for myself that he does not like males.. I am going to Gatlinburg in 2 hours and will be back on Monday.. If someone gets ahold of her and asks her to hold on to him until I get back, I can go evaluate him...I wish I could do more but I also thought she had found a home for him and now it may be to late, she may have taken him to a shelter...

Well just maybe he is aggressive to the ones he has been living with because of the living conditions. Wonder just how he has been treated the past 7 years if they can just throw him out in the backyard and not care. People are horrible.

I too feel so sorry for the poor guy. I've been searching for a female for along time to rescue. Was one at animal control this week but too late for me to rescue. If anyone knows of one in Mo. let me know. People can be so cruel sometimes.
