| Mother and Puppies needs good home http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pet/609324433.html Yorkshire Terrier Mother, and children available to approved homes.... Reply to: comm-609324433@craigslist.org Date: 2008-03-17, 1:16PM PDT Now Accepting Applications for 5 Yorkshire Terrier Puppies, and their mother. They came in with a recent seizure, and will be available to go home by May 15, 2008. The mother is a 5lb female Yorkshire Terrier, 4 years old, with the most endearing personality. She gets along with dogs, cats, and children and loves to play with her new Kong toy. She along with her 5 children (4F 1M) are seeking families who would like to show them life the way they should live it (with lots of Love, and Spoiling, etc). Mom is a Puppy Mill refugee, so she is still working on her potty manners, but is doing very well so far. She is excellent with a Doggie Door. All of them are purebred and the puppies will range from 3lbs - 5.5lbs as adults. The father (who has already been placed) and "aunt" (also placed) were 3.5lbs. All will be spayed / neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. We will require an adoption application, adoption fee, and adoption contract. Would prefer homes with small dog experience, however that is not an absolute requirement. If you would like more information on any of these very special dogs, please e-mail us. Visit Our website for more information on Adoption Requirements/Fees as well! http://www.diamondintheruffrescue.org Don't forget we also have many other wonderful dogs that are available for adoption, or will be soon. So if you find something else that may fit in with your family on our site, please e-mail us!!! (Updates made daily) |

| Awww.. . I wish I could adopt one, but I am in North Carolina. Do you all accept donations? What are the ages? I have some friends in Ca. and NV. who may be intrested. One home in particular sounds like just the place! I will let everyone know about them! I hope they all find great homes!

| I hope they all find great homes too. I was browsing craigslist and thought that yorkietalk would be the perfect avenue to post this. I've been looking at their website but they have not posted anything about this particular case yet. I wish I can help them but I already have 3 bundle of joys at home. |

| I looked at the website as well. Sorry I thought you worked for them lol. I wish I could help too. I just saw they accept nation wide adoptions, but I would hate to have one shipped or to drive that far with a puppy which was just rescued from that kind of situation. I dont know. I might talk to the adoption agency to see what they believe they can handle. I am definitly going to make a donation.

| How tempting.. I don't know what I would do with all those babies. I am so tempted, but I live with my in laws and am not sure, well positive they would not be having it. I really hope and pray that they will find the best home ever! Um, I'm a loser! I thought the ad meant that they all had to go to one home.. I'm a ditz! In that case... hmmmmm

| Gosh I would take one...I tried to to download the application, but my computer is messed up...I would just be concerned with shipping a little. Anyone ever do that, how are they shipped, whats the average cost??? Anyway I called the number on the website and left a message...If anyone gets anymore info on them please PM me....As I posted a few weeks ago Im still searching for a female...I often check on craigslist here,,but these rehoming fees are crazy...I feel if Im going to adopt I rather it be from a rescue group that will use adoption fee's to help other helpless yorkies..It kills me when people buy a pet and then decide they dont want it, and then look tto make their money back..Im sorry just venting

| I called that rescue, I left a msg..a woman called me back ..I told her I was interested in adopting but that I couldnt download the adoption appl...so she did it over the phone...She was willing to do a escorted shipping for an extra 150 dollars...and they would bring the puppy to my house to do a home evaluation..It sounded perfect although the women was yawning constantly throughout our conversation....I told her how to we go about payment..she wanted me to wire her money or threw paypal..I told her that I needed to speak with my husband first...she then said well I can only give you an hour and then she has to move on..I couldn't speak to my husband right away ..so I havent called back..... Does anyone know anything about this rescue group...she really sounded legit

| I haven't a clue if this is a reputable rescue or not but rarely does rescue ship nationwide...just not sure about this organization. When I was in Arizona doing rescue their name never popped up. I always look to see if a rescue has a not for profit status also. Just to be safe I would contact the local animal control to see if they know anything about them. You could also contract Prisoners of Greed to see if they know about this organizaton.

| oh I do hope that the add is for real.. but if no one knows of them, or cannot have anyone check them out.. then I would not send money.. sad we all have to feel like we are being scammed.. but today who knows.. maybe get some one close by to see them and check.. Maybe I am wrong but it seems strange they would ship and for only 150. send an escort to do a home visit.. who pays for the return of the escort is what I am thinking... If this is for real, I hope all the yorkies get a home.. |
