yorkie needs a good home
 
Hi everyone -
While I hate to have to do this, I have an 8 month old yorkie that really needs a new home. I don't have the time she deserves, and she really needs a yard to play in. Her name is Daisy, she has CKC papers, and she's very sweet. I live in virginia, so if anyone knows someone who would give her a GOOD home, please let me know. I will not give her to just anyone. I unfortunately don't have any recent pics, she doesn't usually hold still long enough to take pictures. But I will get some ASAP so everyone can see her.

I think this is a great place to come and find a new home. I would be very very careful none the less though as this is a public forum with thousands of members. If someone is interested please check all of their previous posts and threads and do your homework. I would do a home visit too.

I'm so sorry you have to re-home your baby.

I'm sure you will find someone on this site who will give your baby a new forever home.

I definately will do that - like i said, she will not go to just any home. She needs a good home with people that will care for her like she deserves.

are you asking anything for her besides the good home? Is she UTD on shots? Has she been around kids? People? these may be things that can help potential lookers get an idea of your baby Daisy :)

I want to say hi and welcome to yorkietalk and I am truly sorry you need to rehome your furbaby . You should be able to find a loving home here and with any luck be able to see pics and updates on here . Good luck to you I will be praying this works out well for everyone involved.

she IS up to date on her shots, and is great around people and kids. she's hyper and has trouble paying attention in large crowds but when in a smaller setting she listens and will sit on command. i did pay $700 for her, and would like (if possible) to get maybe $250 for her, but ultimately she deserves a good home. that is most important to me.

GREAT! Im sure that will help people out in knowing these things about her :) You sound like a great mom and are really dont whats best for her. I know its not an easy thing to do. would you be able to provide vet records? That may help also. I wish so bad I could have another but I do have 2 right now...and Diggy is not yet to his first Birthday!! Too much going on to take on a new baby. Best of luck and if you need help at ALL feel free to contact me. :)

That is so sad that you have to give away your baby :( :( :( I just have a couple of questions abou her:
Is she shy or out going?
Is she housetrained?
Are you willing to ship her?
Are you willing to fix her before she goes to her new home or is she already fixed?
By the way, the best of luck with finding her a good home!
p.s. I would LOVE to have her but I am on Vancouver island in BC soooo that is why I asked if you are willing to ship :)

I do not have the vet records from all of her shots, but i do have the most current records - and she is spayed.

she is very outgoing
at the moment she is puppy pad trained, but easily learns to go outside...we've had to switch back and forth twice and she does a great job learning
she is fixed
i'm not so sure about shipping. i have never dealt with that before so i would have to learn more about it first. i would prefer not to but am open to learning about it and the safety of it

I would be interested in her for my mother. I have a Yorkie that I originally brought for her am I have gotten close to her to be able to part from her. My mother was a little upset but she understood. I was in the process of getting her another one. This time I was gonna ship it to her asap so I would not get close to her. I will PM U.

Is your baby still available? My husband's parents have just bought their first home (they've moved around with the army and he just retired) and are looking to get their first dog to love. I will pm you their e-mail address if you would like. They live in North Carolina so that is somewhat close to you. Let me know.

for everyone wishing to see pictures of little Daisy - i will post them tonight, i have to leave the house for a few hours and will be home to get her pictures posted. if anyone is seriously interested please pm me. if i have pm'd you back already and you are still interested, please let me know so i may look at all of the options and find the best home for her.

I would like to add... that I did see a larger beautiful yorkie for sale and at a good price.. the yters name is amazing yorkies I think if you go to www. amazingyorkies.com and go to the puppy page he is at the bottom.. he is so sweet.. I found him there last night.. so if this does not work out for some of you, maybe you can check out this little guy.. I am sure is he UTD on his shots.. he looks adorable..
Hope it is ok for me to post this..I do not want to step on anyones toes.. but gee whiz there seems to be almost too many wanting the same dog.. LOL

I think it's fine that you posted about that little guy!

The OP's yorkie can go to one home only, and the others will be sad but maybe they can open their hearts to rescue the little boy!

Oh thanks.. the other boy is not a rescue.. but a breeder who has him, and he is a little bigger so his price is better.. and so I just thought I would like share him with some of these Yters looking.. so many only want tinies.. and these larger ones are great also..he is gorgeous..

i have no problem at all with you posting that - like the other member said, there are so many people that want yorkies and only one Daisy - so I'm sure they will both find great homes.
