I'm so sorry you have to rehome your Daisy. I know how hard it is. :( You came to a great place, and you can find your baby an excellent home on here. As someone else said, look into past posts of possible buyers, and maybe send out some PMs or something asking people if they feel that soandso would be a good home for her.

I also wanted to give you a success story about shipping. :) We had to rehome our 2 dogs last year, due to a move. My 9 year old lab, Rusty, flew 12 hours (without a potty break at the flight change) from NJ to Alaska (a member on here, my good friend Mike *AlaskaYorkie* adopted him), and he got there perfectly. Totally safe with no problems whatsoever. and he flew in cargo. Maybe instead of shipping, if someone was willing to they could pay to fly out to you to get her, then fly home with her.

Best of luck to you. Maybe you can stick around here, because if you manage to find Daisy a home on here then you can watch her as she gets older. :)

thanks for the well-wishes and the shipping story. it does make me feel better about the shipping option. i would love to stay here on yorkietalk to watch daisy grow. its very hard having to give her up, but seeing her happy with a family that can give her everything she needs will make it better.

why cant you post pictures.. you wanna rehome your dog you have people interested we have said if you email pictures to our personal emails we will post them for you what is the holdup?

i apologize for the delay - i am a senior in college and am very busy (hence why i need to find her a home that is better suited for her). i have class this morning and will be home about 12:30 eastern time. i will get her to hold still and snap some pictures. if i can't get them posted i will let someone know and have them help as offered. again i apologize and will have pictures up this afternoon - you can count on that. daisy wants to meet her new family.

:wavey: Good Luck in finding Daisy the perfect home! There have been quite a few success stories on YT with rehoming and I'm sure yours will be too!

still trying to cinvince hubby or the two girlfriends i know who are local to her that are looking, we will find sweet daisy a great family, and im sure they will keep you updated with pictures and emails

I wish I could take her. I live in Idaho. But I don't know if I could pay for the rehoming plus the shipping right now. We haven't done our taxes yet. :<
I don't have my yorkie yet. But I did want a female. And all my kids are older and she would be spoiled rotten but in a good way. Oh well. I can't wait to see what she looks like too. I bet she's very sweet.

As anxious as I am to see her pic too I sure understand not having time to post them. I have been here four months and barely gotten my avatar pic up. Take your time and you will know when you have heard from the person with just the right home for your precious baby.

I sent you a PM. I have my hands full with my two, but I know of a wonderful couple that has been waiting for a little furbaby to add to their family. Maybe your Daisy would be a good fit. I couldn't imagine a better home for her!

I am looking for a little girl. I have 2 other female Yorkies ( Bailey and Tinkerbell) and am looking to replace a little Yorkie we lost about a month ago. I live in Nebraska in Omaha. I can tell you more ...ummm I have had Yorkies for the past 25 years. I have always had 2 or 3 as they love to play together and then when I do need to go out they are not alone. I work out of my home so I am home most days. We have a very large fenced back yard. I guess most important is that the Yorkies are are kids as we do not have the 2-legged kind. Would like more information from you regarding your puppy.....I am truly sorry that you must give her up..but if you feel it is in her best interest then that is what you must do

:) thanks for the offers of help...i'm surprised i figured it out, but there she is. 9 lbs and 8 months old...little ball of energy :) the one with the shirt is her nighty...its a yellow ducky gown.
