God bless you in all that you do. All one has to do is to look into those little faces. I will never understand either why people do what they do. There is a special place in heaven for you and all other rescue people, because without people like you we would not have our little Roo. He was a mill dog rescue. I know those days and easy for me to say. If I can ever be of help please let me know.

Six of our eight dogs are rescue dogs. It has always appeared to be that they are grateful and so bask in the love and attention...but I always say they give more than they get.

I too, checked out your website and was blown away by "Nikki" and if you weren't so far...I'd apply for her ![]() Just tonight, I was approved to adopt a Yorkie rescue from a local organization and I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to do this! I'm hoping in the very near future to also join the ranks and be able to commit to fostering future little ones who are in need

Yes, you are amazing! I think you have one of the best Yorkie Rescues! As another rescue person, I know exactly how you feel and we do get burnt out........ not because of the dogs..... because of the lack of caring on the part of the owner. I have all I can do not to scream at those who call wanting to dump a 15 year old dog because the just "can't put up with it anymore!" It's been crazy here with calls, but we haven't actually taken any in this month. As soon as the newness of that Christmas puppy wears off or it gets sick - we'll be getting the calls. Anytime you need to vent...... just email me! I'm a good listener! Trish Yorkierescuecolorado.com

| Where in SJ do you live? Camden County shelter isnt that far from me. And like the others have said Thank you for all you do. I could never do it and much as I would love to I dont think I can emotionally handle it.But Im proud to say my Fiance is with the NJ spca and although he isnt doing the rescue work you do hes making a difference in some dogs (and cats) lives. Im just so proud of him

It always amazes me that yorkies go into rescues..our rescue group in Ontario wont let people with children adopt and by children I mean under 16!!!! I sure know I would have rescued before I ever bought a puppy if the rescue group would have allowed it..good luck finding new homes for these little dears.. Dawn

Rescues are the BEST! Carole...I just adopted Gabby from your rescue. I didn't know you were a member here. Glad to see you here. I just can imagine how hard it is and sometimes the only thing we can do is vent. There is nothing wrong with that...its actually good for you. Thank you and Rescue me yorkie for what you do...my girl has brought us so much joy in such short time. She is a little character and we love everything about her. I will attend the get together Sunday...can't wait to meet you. I want to get into fostering but I want to wait until Gabby is settled 100% although if you see her now...you would think she's been here forever but we are still working on some of her little habits. We stopped her little toy obsession already. She's learned how to share. We are so amazed how quickly she learned. BTW here are some pics of our girl Gabby that we rescued from your rescue. 1. Pic of her when we got home from picking her up 2. Pic in front of the tree a few days before Christmas 3. Christmas day with her new toy 4. Another pic on Christmas day with her new toy Take Care...Glorivette
