| Desperate Search for a bootie... have you owned booties and maybe lost some and have mismatched? With seeker in a splint i am SOOO paranoid when he goes pee that it will get wet. So , i am looking for a bootie or 2. cause even though he stays inside, when he uses his pad, he steps on it and im afraid at night he might step on it. so please, let me know if you have something laying around. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | this is what the vet hospital i worked for would sell to pet owners of dogs in casts/splints. its great for protection and has a non-slip bottom. like all covers though, it cannot be left on all day. only when needed like going outside or pottying. otherwise it creates a warm environment inside the cast. Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | your welcome. these booties really are great. it takes a lot of use for the bottoms to start coming apart and that usually only happens with the big dogs who drag the splint along the ground like a club

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i don't know what kind of bootie you are looking for but anything made of fabric is only going to absorb the urine and its still going to get to the splint. sock like booties are no good. you need something waterproof

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | no, you need to double check. "bootie" is a very generalized term so make sure you check out what they are made of before you buy/use them.
