| Awesome! This is just what I've been looking for. All the others I've been finding had too low of sides. Thanks from posting about this! Now I just have to save up my pennies.

| Sorry it took a while to get back to you, I see you ordered it. The cover is removeable, it has high sides, I have the larger console because we had an SUV, but for a car the smaller may work. Although I like the bigger console one because it has more room, I actually can get Lily and my 4lb chihuahua in it together. Oh, and I got it at a local boutique, she had both sizes and let me try them in my Jeep before I bought one. I think you will love it and so will your baby.

I have an SUV but I ordered the small one. I have a smaller one now and didn't want it taking up too much more room. I have a bigger one in the backseat for Gracie and Spike so Sugar is the only one who uses the console seat. I thought about getting the bigger one so Spike and Sugar could ride in it together but then Gracie would be by herself in the backseat. I'm so excited about it! Could you tell me how it attaches? The one I have now has a strap that goes under the console and then one strap for each seat. You slide them in between the seat and the back if that makes any sense. It's a bit of a pain and my car seat is always sliding backward. I'm hoping this seat attaches differently but if not I guess I can put my husband on it and see if he can get it installed better.

| Thank you for all the info! I am in market for a console car seat too and was wondering if has anyone had considered the one at sold at petedge or if maybe there were some drawbacks to that one? It's 17 inches high and costs about $55, it's item ZX549

| That is very similar to the one I have now except mine isn't the oversized one. To me it's a pain to install and mine always wants to slide backward. The sides aren't very high either which was my main issue with it. If your dog is standing and you stop short there's nothing to keep them in.

| We just got a 'Snoozer' lookout seat from Petco: http://www.petco.com/product/13761/S...-Lookouts.aspx It's great but very big - I probably could have gotten a smaller one and still had tons of room for the boys.

It might work for you- I've been using mine for over 2 years so it's not like it's unusable. I'd do a search and see what other people think about it. The Animals Matter one is just closer to what I was looking for. Good luck!
