Jeanie charged me $20.00 which included shipping... She shipped the bed "unstuffed" just because it's easier to ship that way. I went to Walmart and purchased a bag of polyfil for $3.00, and one bag filled it nicely. Actually, I probably over stuffed it a bit, I could take a little out to make it so she sinks in a little more... She looks like she's a queen on a throne this way. LOL.. Jeanie made it so that there is an inside white pillow with a zipper that I stuffed, and the pink polka dot cover goes over it.

Wow. Jeanie is really talented. I am sitting here looking at my sewing machine and reading your description and I still have no idea how I would do that. I've made a sling bag for Sammy and I'm about to cover some foam steps for her too, so I'm not a complete klutz with the sewing machine either!

Jeanie - are you making more of these?

Yes, it's really beautifully made. Even the inside pillow that you don't see is wonderful. And did I mention that the bottom is done in a lovely pink satin???

I should've taken a picture of the bottom for you. The doggies may like to lay on that side if it's super hot out... But I swear Lily gets chilled drinking her cold water...LOL... So the fuzzy side is perfect for her.

The finished bed is 18 inches across and 5 inches deep.

Thank you for the compliment. It's really one of the easiest things I have ever sewn, including putting in the zipper.

Mine do like to flip it over and lay on the other side.

Thanks for the sweet compliments. Lily looks so comfortable all stretched out on it. she makes a lovely model.

Jeanie's work really does look professional...beautiful!! I bought the fill from Wal-Mart that is machine washable so you can even throw the inner part in the wash without taking the stuffing out. Glad to hear that Lily likes the bed as much as Livi does. Lily looks super pretty laying on it!!

Yes I will make more until I run out of material. The fabric stores don't have much of a selection of fur right now. I'll get more when they get their fall fabric in, but the price will most likely be higher.

I have some of the pink fur left. I did have to raise my price by $5 because I ran out of the material that I was using for the liner and the satin that I use for the bottom.

They are $25 and that includes the shipping.

Lily is adorable on that bed! The nice thing about beds like that is that you can keep putting new stuffing in if needed. (like if someone has an accident on it or something - that won't wash out of the poly fill.) If the stuffing gets old, just restuff and it's like new again.

Jeanie - how many dogs do you have? I'm looking at your avatar and can't figure out if some are the same dogs or not!

Here is a pic of Kaya of Jeanie's creation and Kaya "allowing" Tinka to use a tiny bit of it for a pillow.

We turned it over to the satiny side for the hot weather...

I actually got this for Brea cause she is the smallest...
