It will only roll down to the pink part (just the mesh will roll). You can roll it down just enough for her head to poke out, like halfway or whatever. It's a zipper so you just unzip to where you want it & roll down.

This bag has a pocket at one end that is about the size of a cell phone or small wallet. The other end has a small mesh hole that unzips and your dog can poke his/her head out. Plus the top where you put your dog in has mesh and totally unzips. It has a nice little soft cloth for your dog to sit on too. It is a little bit bigger than some bags but your dog can lay down it. It is approved by the airlines in case you want to fly with it.

Ooohhh...approved by the airlines?! That may have been the magic words . I've been searching for a cute carrier that I can discreetly take Sukoshi places in, but I also need one that will fit under the seat in front of me and be "airline approved" for when we travel to see my family for Christmas. Thanks for all the info!

I really love the raspberry sorbet one (white and pink), but the black is so much more practical I think. Hmmmm...
