This Snoozer isn't a console car seat. They make a special one that is long and narrow with specific straps to secure it to the console and through both front seats.

This seat is meant to go into the seat of a car. You use the car's seatbelt to strap it in (it loops around the indented area of the Snoozer) and then the harness strap gets clipped around the seatbelt and then connected to your baby's harness.

Where do you find the attachment to hold the Yorkie in the seat? And does the seat cover come off for easy washing?

Yes it does come off easy but I never had to wash mine because I always fold up a pee pad and put a blanket on top just in case an accident occurs while we are on the road but luckily nothing yet
