| For Sale Post REMINDERS! I have received quite a few questions regarding the recent closures of numerous threads in this section. Please review the rules below~ 1. YorkieTalk members may post one Product For Sale or Product Wanted thread per week. Donating members (those who have donated $25 or more) can post two Product For Sale threads per week. Members with commercial online stores may not post any For Sale threads unless they have donated $25 or more. 2. If you are selling any items, you are allowed ONE bump of your thread. When you bump it is up to you. You may answer any questions people have of your product, but any post not related to a question will be considered a bump. Responding to comments on your thread is considered a bump. You may privately message (PM) those members that comment on your thread. If you have multiple fabrics or items or attachments to post, your replies to your thread must be made within ONE HOUR of your initial posting otherwise it will be considered a bump. If you item does not sell, you may post a new thread for it the following week. 3. Products for sale MUST ONLY be posted in the Products For Sale forum. We only allow Yorkie Products For Sale. Personal items (such as computers or cell phones) are only allowed in the Garage Sale forum (http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=52). 4. You must include prices of the item(s) you are selling. 5. Links to eBay auctions are not allowed in your For Sale post. We also do not allow selling of Amway, Mary Kay, or any other direct marketing products. Links to your eBay store are allowed if you are a Donating Member. 6. You may NOT review any products that you or your storefront is selling in the Yorkie Products & Review forum, as there may be a conflict of interest. 7. If you do not follow these rules, your threads and posts may be deleted and you may be suspended. Other abuses of the products for sale forum may also lead to suspension or banning. 8. You may only post items you are selling yourself in this forum. 9. No referral links are allowed. 10. If you are looking for a Yorkie-related item and you post a thread, you may bump your thread once PER WEEK. YorkieTalk.com is not responsible for any products advertised in the Products For Sale section nor do we vouch for any sellers. We provide no guarantee for any products listed in this forum. Please use caution when purchasing from any individual member or Web site. Buy at your own risk. If you see a thread that is closed, feel free to privately message the seller to see if their product(s) are still available. |

| Is it a new rule? thought you were always allowed only 1 bump. Also if the thread gets locked are you allowed to start a new one for the same product for sale after a week? Another thing admin said the week is from Sunday till Saturday, so if I post a new for sale thread on Sunday bump it up on Friday I can bump it again sunday. I'm confused about that. Color me dumb I guess. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | From what i understand you can bump your thread once the entire time it's open. You can answer questions in the thread but not reply to comments because that is considered a bump. the new week starts on sunday but you can still only bump your thread 1 time ever not every week. you can post a new thread for the same thing if it gets locked. i hope that helps Quote:

Wow, I thought the same thing as you. This can definately be a little confusing and I'm sure I'll mess it up the next time I post anything

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Me too. With a FEATURED Seller section and the 'little guy' regular section it's too bad the rules were changed cause people complained....Many people who sell are small time sellers and are also here for the friendships & posting...then others are here only to sell. |

| Someone complained? I agree with some ar here only to sell. I think there should be a rule put into place about that . Maybe must be a member for a certain periodof time or a donating member for sure. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | Not only that but they have to be an active member not just posting in the for sale threads. They should be an active member in uor community. they should have posts that are helping yt not just posts about selling thier products.

No Longer a Member | I agree with that. I wouldn't even have a problem being required to make a larger donation to post the ads... |
