How do you guys feel about... Dog shirt that sat stuff like "bad ass" and "beware of B**tch". Are they just too rude? funny? pun-ny? absolute hate them? I see tons of them in my industry and I just want to know what the general public thinks of them. |
I'm not too big on them...they're kinda cute, but I wouldn't let Chloe wear one in public. Maybe for at home or certain public places... I don't really know LOL I, personally, probably wouldn't buy one if that's what your asking. |
I dont like shirts like that so I wouldnt buy them but i am older |
Ive seen some really bad(extremely vulgar)dog tanks and they actually tick me off. But the ones that are much much more innocent seem cute but still I cant help but question wether they are appropriate, but I tend to be a very prude person so that why I want to knwo what other people think of all these shirt with these innocent but yet slightly not so innocent sayings on them. |
I think they are tacky but then I'm old too.:) |
I don't think they're too rude/vulgar, but I'm also prudish. I just wouldn't put them on Chloe. I'm 19 so I'm not "older" like the other poster mentioned...I'm a good little Southern girl by nature, though. Was rasied in "Redneckville" (Thomasville) North Carolina. Maybe that has something to do with it?? |
I don't like them personally, they seem unclassy to me. I'm 19 years old as well and I wouldn't want to parade my dogs around with something like that on them...I mean what if a 4 year old saw it and decided to try to read it to "Mommy" how embarassing would that be  |
i have a shirt i put on austin that says lil pimp i get alot of dirty looks for that personally i would stay away from the curse ones ive seen some cute ones that are still out there but with out curses those i think are cute and you should kinda like the pimp one |

Okay what about specifically the phrase "bad ass"? Is that bad? |

I think Lil pimp is cute for a dog, that one doesnt bother me.:) |
although I think the shirts are funny to read I wouldn't put one on Kayah either.. and I'm also 19.. the worst Kayah has had on her were "Princess" or "Spoiled" and let me tell you.. that gets in her head too much:rolleyes: I can only imagine what she would do if I put B!tch on her:p |
I don't think bad ass is too bad yet |

i agree with the above poster !! |
i love austins pimp shirt EVERYONE calls him the little pimp cause he has a ton of girlfriends lol i paid 30 bucks for it it would be nice to have cute shirts like that for cheaper i like the idea of the "bad to the bone" and "naughty boy those sound cute |
If someone likes them.. how can someone judge them for that? I think they are kinda cheesy, but I don't find them rude or offensive. |
Some of them if they have vulgar words on them I wouldn't put on her, but I need the one that says Drama Queen on it, cuz she really is one LOL. Also, there is another one I have to have... To make a short story long... Do any of you watch SNL? Remember the Celebrity Jeopardy skits? Well, one time Norm Macdonald did Burt Reynolds, who "changed his name to Turd Ferguson" in the skit... Well, when Chloe was still potty training, there was one night where she just wouldn't do her number 2 outside. So I sat out there with her for what seemed like hours. I kept giving her encouraging words, "you can do it...you're a little turd machine...a turd factory..." and then finally, "you're my little Turd Ferguson." So out of fun, I occasionally call her that. One day while browsing online, I found a dog shirt that says "Turd Ferguson" on it. I just have to have it. ...more than you wanted to know? :p |
I had one that said " I hate Tinkerbell that B*tch has everything" but don't know where it went. Maybe hubby hid it from me. I didn't let Jinny wear it out. |
I dislike them. I don't see the point, really. I wouldn't wear a shirt like that, so why would I make my dogs wear them? |

I don't mind that one as much...I think it's kind of cute. But like you said, I would not let Chloe wear it in public - only at the house. |
I don't like them. Mostly because little kids are really attracted to little dogs and they just don't need to read that kind of stuff. |
I think a lot of them are really cute, but I'd use caution in where I allowed them to wear the more "adult" tee's. |
Don't like them - wouldn't buy them. I agree with makemepretty:thumbup:   oh, and I wouldn't judge anyone if their babies had one. |
I LOVE that shirt that says "I hate Tinkerbell, that B*tch has everything"-because it's like dog gossip/tabloid humor. I think it's funny, and wanted to buy one for Emma, but never did because they were $30 for a t-shirt! She does have a pink one that says "Flirt" because she lets all the boy dogs sniff her, and rolls over on her back for boy dogs and all people, but I don't think I'd put a really vulgar one on her. Milli also has one from Target that says "for sale by owner", which I make her wear when she's being a terror, (as an empty threat, of course!) Target also had one that said "Does this shirt make my tail look big" which I decided was a little tacky, but cute. We didn't end up getting it. To sum it up, I like the ones with POSITIVE messages, rather than the vulgar ones. Anything like Princess, Flirt, Mama's boy, etc. I think are fine, and I think a lot of people would buy them. |
You know that commercial where the lady tells Mr. Jiggles to use his INSIDE Voice ?? Well that's how I feel about those shirts (For ME) - they're great for at home and a laugh but INSIDE Shirts - I wouldn't take mine out in public wearing one....but, I wouldn't be at all offended if I saw a dog wearing one either...:) Cheri has one that says "POOCH for Sale" and she only wears it if I find a poop in the house  my husband knows if she's wearing THAT shirt exactly what she did  |
pooch for sale: Thats too cute villette. Now theres no way that those precious little girls of yours poop in the house. NO WAY JOSE'. I am not offended by them either but wouldnt buy them for my girls. |
I am more into the funny sayings like the one Bobbi has "For sale by Owner" or "I poop you scoop" etc. While I too am young, I wouldn't put something on that said "bitch" etc. I know the real term is female dog but for anyone who doesn't own a dog or doesn't know what it truly means........it might come across as offensive........I just would not risk it. |
I'm not a big fan of t-shirts and writing for people or dogs regardless of the phrase printed. I've seen several I'm amused at and several that were offensive. Ruby does have one that says "Daddy's Girl", she wears on Sat. when she goes on errands with Daddy. |

Very unclassy. |
Don't like them, and wouldn't buy them. There are many, many that could be just as cute without being vulgar. |
