Some are funny but reminds me of a bumper sticker. I like to read them on other people's cars but do not want to put it on my own car. |
I wouldn't buy them, don't wear them, wouldn't want people to have to explain to thier children what it was and think they are in poor taste. JMHO, boy I sound like an old snob! LOL Kim |
WOWOW I must be the typical New Yorker........Brandi has the cutest little pink summer dress with silver studs on the back that spell out "Barkin Bitch" and I love it........Now I'll be ashamed to let her wear it......and I'm old too LOL :p |

LOL that is too funny! I love it! That is perfect for those bad dog days! |
I wouldn't buy a shirt that has a vulgar saying on it. However, although I am relatively young, I am very particular about the clothes that my entire family wears, Summerlin included. My skin boys aren't allowed to wear that kind of stuff either, and neither is my husband. My girl definitely wouldn't be allowed! :) |
I don't like them and wouldn't buy one. I think they're tacky. |
I dont care for those kind of t-shirts for humans or dogs. Theirs already too much stuff being worn in public that are just not for little eyes because its soon coming out their mouths and just might in public too and that would be embarrassing. the kid would figure well, my doggie shirt says that word , why can't I? I just wouldnt buy one but, no. It wouldnt offend me, i would just consider the source. |
Shirts like that wouldn't bother me...as long as they're worn at home. I would even buy a shirt that says..."Sexy Bitch" for my girls. Bitch is just another term used for a female dog. I dunno...maybe I'm just easy going like that. |
Personally I don't like it because we don't use foul language at our home. I see so many people wearing shirts with saying or images that I think is too much. It really bothers me when I see toddlers wearing them. But I can see there is a big market for it. There are even stores at our local malls that seem to specialize in them. Don't get me wrong I'm not a prude or anything and I do get a chuckle out of some of them but I would never buy one for me or as a gift. And I sure don't want to be the cause of a youngster reading them and repeating it or asking their parent what it says or means! |
I don't like them. Teddy has a shirt that says "bad to the bone" but that's about as bad as I will let him wear. In reality, Daisy should be wearing that shirt. LOL But her shirts tend to say "princess". |

Just like another post said, it's like reading bumper stickers, I read them, find some of them funny but some get my blood pressure up.:D |

I like some of them, but alot of them are a "right time and place" type of thing, def not in public or my home since we have kids. |

I think some of them go just a little too far. My hubby bought Jaxon a sweatshirt for Christmas that says 'Bite Me' - I would never have even bought that. |
Conner has "bad to the bone". I personally do not object to the other shirts, but I would not put one on Conner, as I do not want it to reflect badly on him. |
nope, not my style of clothing for my dogs. I have seen them also and I just kinda laugh at them, but I would never buy them. |
I don't really like those types of doggy shirts. I am always thinking of little kids...this reminds me of when my daughter was about 6 and my hubby took her to work with him. They stopped at a Biker shop and Olivia was reading all the stickers in his display case. She asked her daddy what something meant(she mispronounced the word) The owner, a hard core, cynical, tattooed biker turned red and started stammering. The next time my hubby went to the shop, Bruce had moved all the 'naughty' stickers to a higher glass case that was not at eye level with little kids.:) |
Hi Shana, I'll be turning 26 soon and whether I was 18 or 81 I don't think I'd buy these shirts. Some of them make me laugh but I'd rather walk my babies around with a cute frilly dress on :p I guess it really depends on the personality types out there and I'm sure some would snatch these right up. I have a sister who's only 2 years older then me and if she had a dog I could see her liking these. So I guess you never know but I personally wouldn't wanna see my babies in them. We stick with the pretty girlie items ;) |
Living in Brooklyn, you should see the sayings on some of the shirts that people wear! When I was teaching, we had to make some of our kids turn their shirts inside out. Actually, I agree with BlondieGirl. I like Bad to the Bone, and other boy things. I don't think I'd put curse words on Max, but I don't really find them offensive. Judy |
I bought yesterday a t-shirt for Maggie that says: "My philosophy is: No matter what you've done wrong... Blame it on the cat." I don't like vulgar or offensive words neither... but I respect others opinions... Katiuscia & Maggie & Hannah...:aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
i agree young kids hear enough of this stuff from parents and other ppl i dont think they should be reading it on one of our cute fuzzy furbabies because then they might think its ok if ''doggy'' has one so as to all of u i agree they are funny but not on my furchild !!!!!!!!! |

This has been so very helpful and very interesting to me. I always hear people asking for cute boy clothes and I try so hard to find them but for some reason it seems almost 50% of the boy-type clothing my manufactuers are making has dirty phrases or cuss words on them. I just dont know why they do this. I wondered what everyone thought of them and it looks like most people feel the same way I do about them. Very interesting! |

Now, cuss words...like sh*t or the "f" word...no...those are just tacky. Bitch is about as bad as I'd like to see on a shirt. |
Well, I guess I might as well chime in too  I think these shirts are funny - but you can add me to the list of those who would NOT buy them for their pups ;) If I let them wear one in public, I'd constantly be wondering what people were thinking  I think something like "Lil' Pimp" is cute...and I think I could handle that - but anything with @$$ or b!tch on it, nope, it's just not for us :p ;) |

I don't really like them. I don't think they're classy but that's just my opinion and I would not judge anyone for buying one for their dog. |
