I have a red chrome bag for sale if interested for $70. I did post a For Sale thread about my carrier on this forum. It's titled "Red mesh dog purse carrier for Sale." If interested, please email or PM me. Thanks, ajoyjoie | |

| Thanks ladies! I somehow missed this, just realised there were replies tonight. I did find a black on and it is on it's way! I am worried now though as I have just read that some had to get rid of thiers because puppies grew out of them after hitting 5lbs??? I could have sworn I read that (I think) Kathryn was able to put 2 at a time in there???? Could nave been someone else...Don't remeber now. I really hope my Teddy fits in there easily. He is just a hair over 4lbs so he should be ok. Kim and Teddy |

| chromebones can hold up to 3 or 3.5 lbs. My pup is 4 lbs 3 oz and she was too big ... especially where the zipper takes a "dip" and I did not feel there was room enough for my wallet and cell phone. The pup was definitely uncomfortable. Maybe 2 two pounders can fit nicely ... but my 4 pounder did not fit comfortably.

I'm so glad you posted this. I have been wanting one of those bags for so long and so badly, but just couldn't pay that much money for it. My dogs are 3.5, 5.0 and 6.0 so the bag is definitely too small for my two larger ones, and then my 3.5 may be just a hair uncomfortable. Now I can forget about it and try and find something else.

| Have you ever seen these carriers? Pups are very confotable in them but not hidden away. I don't know what they cost. Just thought I'd pass it on. http://www.puppypurse.com/

They are very comfortable. The design of the carrier distributes the dogs weight evenly. No pressure especially around the neck area. The dogs love them. Almost like their floating. You can also adjust this that the dog is in front of you. The only thing I don't like about the puppy purse is it doesn't have a matching cushion for the strap.

My 8 lb chihuahua fits in the bag just fine, even with the "dip". My 3 lb yorkie is absolutely swimming in the bag there is so much room in it. This bag is 17 inches long- that is really big. At the shallowest part of the "dip" this bag is 9 inches in height, this is the height of most bags, unless you are looking for luggage size dog carriers.
