| YAYAYAYYAYAYAY for you getting a carseat! The home made one sounds perfect, especially if you would only use it occasionally I've had my car seats since we made the 5000 mile trip from Alaska to Virginia and still use them ALL the time! They really do work and I'm very happy to hear that you are getting one. I think doggie car seats will be my new "cause" haha |

| I have a lookout for the back and a cosole for the front. I love them both, highly recommend them. They are bothe comfy, safe, high up so they can see out and they love them. My console is by Animals Matter in the tan suede very soft, I got it at a boutique here locally. They are easy to strap in too. If you have a console I would recommend the console seat first, that way your baby can be right next to you. If you have any other questions let me know.

| I like the travelin dog car seat http://www.petsbestproducts.com/dogs/dogs.htm You can use it front or back, just lift the storage seat lid & slide the seat belt thru to secure seat (holds xtra supplies), Legs lift it as a look out or leave them down, a warm fleece bed easily removed & washed & a very sturdy clip that attaches to their harness to keep them in place & a water/food bowl that attaches to the front. Holds up to 30 lbs. See pics at above link. I got mine for $59.99 in store at petsmart, they also have a soft type car seat for $39.99 online that has a blow up bottom to stop the sink effect so many others have. Good luck |
